Resumen
Abstract
In the test, the effect of changing the flow of water in the condenser for a refrigeration system that
works by vapor compression was verified, for which a device called refrigeration unit RA1-MKII
was used, in which as it varied the flow of water was a variation of the temperature, pressure of the
flow where these data were obtained through the use of software that was incorporated in the
equipment. Therefore, among other values such as the coefficient of performance, heat extracted
water flow among others, where our analysis was based between the data of the coefficient of
performance (COP) and the flow of water entering the condenser, was determined. In order to analyze
these characteristics and how it influenced the steam compression cycle, a graph of performance
coefficient vs water flow in the condenser was made for what was part I of our practice, with which
we could obtain the influence that it contributed the amount of water flow that entered the condenser
with respect to the cooling capacity that this cycle was going to present. While for part II we
proceeded to do the same thing just by changing the condenser with the evaporator where a graph of
the performance coefficient (COP) vs water flow in the evaporator is also made to better understand
the relationship between both parameters.
