En este proyecto

instrumentación moderna y avanzada que utiliza todo tipo de protocolos
de comunicaciones industriales para su incorporación en una planta piloto
de investigación.
1. Introducción

Este proyecto consiste en el diseño e implementación de un sistema de
control distribuido (Distributed
(Distribute Control System - DCS) lo más abierto y
flexible posible que sea capaz de ser utilizado en una planta piloto de
investigación. Uno de los requisitos principales es que sea capaz de
integrar transmisores y actuadores que utilicen todo tipo de protocolos de
comunicaciones industriales de campo, desde el más habitual de 4-20 mA
a los más avanzados, como pudieran ser HART, Modbus Ethernet TCP/IP o
Foundation Fieldbus.

Hay que tener en cuenta que aún tratándose de una señal digital, el

Programación de señales 4-20 mA y HART
La programación de señales de entrada 4-20mA

implica crear bloques de funciones de distintos tipos con ayuda del FCS

En caso de configurar

instrumentos disponibles en la planta piloto que utilizan este protocolo.

Aún no está definido qué uso va a hacer de este tipo de módulos, pero
a modo de ejemplo, se sugirió implementar el control de una válvula
ON/OFF disponible en la planta piloto. Dicha válvula dispone de una señal
de actuación ON/OFF y de 2 finales de carrera que indican el estado de la
válvula. En el DCS se ha programado la lógica de control con ayuda de un
bloque de tipo VLV. Las pruebas realizadas para controlar la válvula han
sido satisfactorias y han sido aprobadas por el usuario final.
Durante
urante las pruebas, se ha observado que la resistencia de fin de bus
no estaba activada en las cajas de conexiones, lo que producía pérdidas
esporádicas de las comunicaciones. Una vez localizado el error y
subsanado,, desaparecieron las pérdidas de comunicaciones.

5. Conclusiones
Conclusion
Podemos afirmar que el proyecto cumple con creces los requisitos
solicitados. Se ha implementado un DCS capaz de integrar diversos
protocolos de comunicaciones industriales de campo, incluyendo los
protocolos digitales más actuales, sin olvidar por ello la capacidad de
implementar todo tipo de algoritmos de control y de supervisión de
procesos que es en el fondo para lo que ha de servir todo DCS.
