Esta segunda versión fue denominada "un clásico cum mica salis" por sus traductores.
Se efectuó en eneasílabos y heptasílabos (métrica del original, tetrámetros y trímetros
yámbicos), y no respetó el esquema de rimas original, pero sí mantuvo una característica
sorprendente: los versos son en su mayoría agudos.
