Varadero

Es el principal y mas bello balneario

cubano, y también el mejor equipado de la
isla. Se localiza en la península de Hicacos
en la costa norte de la provincia de
Matanzas y a 140 km (87.5 mi) al este de la
Ciudad de la Habana con la que se
comunica por una autopista de gran belleza
visual. Tiene, además, un aeropuerto
internacional enlazado con varias ciudades
de América del Norte y Europa.

Ciudad de La Habana

La Habana es la capital del país y casi

desde su fundación en 1519 se convirtió
en el principal centro comercial,
económico y de comunicaciones debido a
su favorecida ubicación frente al Estrecho
de La Florida y a su magnifica bahía.

La Habana Vieja (La Habana

Colonial)

La Habana Vieja es el máximo exponente

de la arquitectura colonial en la isla y en
todo el Caribe. Situada en la margen oeste
de la bahía de La Habana y con 3.2 km (2.0
mi) en el eje norte-sur y 1.6 km (1.0 mi) en
el eje este-oeste, es el mayor centro
colonial del Caribe.

Holguín

La provincia de Holguín se considera

actualmente el tercer destino turístico
cubano en importancia, contando con más
de 4800 habitaciones en la planta hotelera
distribuidas fundamentalmente en las
playas Guardalavaca, Playa Esmeralda y
El Pesquero, todas ubicadas en el Litoral
Norte de Holguín.
Santiago de Cuba

Sntiago de Cuba es la segunda ciudad de

Cuba y también la capital de la provincia del
mismo nombre, caracterizada por la
interelación de la principal cadena
montañosa de la isla, la Sierra Maestra, y
el Mar Caribe. Santiago de Cuba es
montaña y mar, mar Caribe.

Jardines del Rey

Los Jardines del Rey es una extensa

cayería que se extiende al norte del país
frente a las costas de las provincias de
Ciego de Avila y Camaguey. Aquí se
localizan Cayo Coco y Cayo Guillermo,
dos cayos que se han convertido en
plazas fuertes del turismo cubano en
virtud de la excelente calidad de sus
playas de origen coralino y de su
naturaleza casi intacta.

Trinidad

La ciudad de Trinidad esta localizada en el centro de la isla, en la provincia de

Sancti Spiritus. Trinidad es una de las
primeras villas fundadas en Cuba (en el
año 1514), declarada por la UNESCO
Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad y
donde la arquitectura y el aire colonial
mejor se han conservado en la isla por lo
que también se le conoce como Ciudad
Museo del Mar Caribe.

Cienfuegos

La Ciudad del Mar, Cienfuegos, es sin dudas

la ciudad mas bella de Cuba. Situada en el
centro-sur del país, en las márgenes de la
bahía de Jagua, fue fundada por franceses
provenientes de la Louisiana en el año 1819.
En ella pueden admirarse parques, teatros,
iglesias, cementerios llenos de monumentos
escultóricos de gran valor, joyas
arquitectónicas como el Palacio de Valle y el
Teatro Terry y otras varias edificaciones que
rodean el Parque José Martí, en el centro de
la ciudad.
Baracoa

La ciudad primada de Cuba es Baracoa, la primera villa del país fue fundada por
Diego Velázquez en el año 1511 en el extremo oriental de la isla. El aislamiento
físico en que se mantuvo por 4 siglos y una naturaleza exuberante le dan un aire
único en la isla.

Valle de Viñales

Es el mas famoso destino turístico de la

provincia de Pinar del Río y esta
caracterizado por la belleza del paisaje,
en el que se destacan los mogotes, tanto
en solitario como en sierras cársicas,
alternando con las vegas de tabaco, los
campos de cultivo y las casas
campesinas.

Cayo Largo del Sur

Cao Largo del Sur es una pequeña y

paradisíaca isla situada al Sur de la isla de
Cuba, en el extremo Este del Archipiélago
de los Canarreos y en medio del Mar
Caribe.

Cayó Santa María y Los

Ensenachos

Cayó Santa María y Cayo Ensenachos,

junto con Cayo Las Brujas, están situados
frente a la costa norte de la provincia de
Villa Clara en la parte central del país, a
unos 30 Km de tierra firme. Forman parte
de un grupo de cayos (pequeñas islas)
conocidos como Cayos de la Herradura
con más de 500 islotes dispersos en un
área de aguas cristalinas y someras con
una superficie de más de 1300 Km2 y
delimitada al norte por la segunda barrera coralina más grande de la Tierra.
BEBIDAS TIPICAS DE CUBA
Mojito
El cóctel favorito de millones preparado a base de ron
blanco, azúcar, lima, menta, agua carbonatada y otros
ingredientes que se pueden añadir según los gustos.
Para preparar un mojito tradicional cubano no puede
faltar la yerbabuena, una planta que se emplea
normalmente como ingrediente aromático, pero tiene
además muchas propiedades digestivas. Uno de los sitios
donde preparan los mejores mojitos es La Bodeguita del
Medio, en La Habana Vieja.

Daiquirí
¡El mejor cóctel para el verano! Hecho a
partir de ron blanco, azúcar y zumo de limón
criollo o lima y mucho hielo batido. Es un
trago muy versátil que puede ser preparado
con numerosos ingredientes, especialmente
con frutas. Pero el que verdaderamente ha
ganado fama internacional, es el mezclado
en uno de los bares más famosos del
mundo, Bar Floridita, dondeErnest
Hemingway los tomaba regularmente.

Ron
El ron cubano es por su calidad y
tradición uno de los rones más
valorados a nivel mundial, y una vez que
estás en Cuba la diversidad es enorme.
Podrás elegir por marcas, colores,
reservas y precios.Habana Club es la
marca más reconocida pero también
existen otros como Santiago, Mulata,
Ritual, Legendario, Caney…
Jugos tropicales
Las tierras fértiles de esta isla caribeña hacen
que abunden las frutas tropicales frescas. De
mango, plátano, piña, fruta bomba… puedes
pedir tu jugo… o simplemente unirlo todo y
disfrutar de un refrescante ponche de frutas
para calmar tu sed y cuidar tu salud.

Café Expreso
En Cuba una taza de café es más que una
tradición, forma parte indisoluble del estilo
de vida. El café típico se caracteriza por tener
un sabor fuerte, pero se balancea con una
espumita que se disuelve en el café. En la
parte oriental del país es común endulzarlo
con miel o azúcar prieta y los más atrevidos

Varadero

It is the main and most beautiful Cuban resort, and also the best equipped on the
island. It is located in the Hicacos peninsula on the north coast of the province of

by a motorway of great visual beauty. It also has an international airport linked to
several cities in North America and Europe.

Havana city
Havana is the capital of the country and almost from its foundation in 1519 it became
the main commercial, economic and communications center due to its favored
location in front of the Straits of Florida and its magnificent bay.

Old Havana (Colonial Havana)

Old Havana is the best example of colonial architecture on the island and throughout
the Caribbean. Located on the western margin of Havana Bay and 3.2 km (2.0 mi) on
the north-south axis and 1.6 km (1.0 mi) on the east-west axis, it is the largest colonial
center in the Caribbean.

Jardines del Rey
