1.1 General information
Acapulco is a tourist destination endowed with two splendid bays, Santa Lucia,
better known as The Baha de Acapulco and Puerto Marques, both gifted with natural
beauty and impressive cliffs, beautiful and different beaches with diverse types of waves
surrounded by exotic tropical vegetation. The mountains of the Sierra Madre del Sur to
the East and Baha de Santa Lucia to the West protect this destination.
Privileged by the magic of its attractions and natural beauty, Acapulco is known by
locals and visitors as an ideal spot to celebrate a romantic cosmopolitan type of wedding.
Acapulco, yesteryears favorite, is and will be considered as a perfect setting for weddings
and romance.
1.2 Weather
Acapulcos weather is mostly tropical and humid nearly all year long, however July
and August are the hottest months; rain season begins in June and ends in October,
nevertheless these rains are often heavy showers allowing you to enjoy sunny parts of the
days.
Winter at the port is considered privileged and hardly humid. The prevailing
vegetation is low altitude forest and the annual average temperature is in the high 33s C
and the low 22s.
Unlike other destinations, Acapulco does not have marked seasons, reason why you
can constantly enjoy of its good weather all year long.
