INTRODUCCIN
La sexualidad se manifiesta desde los primeros meses de gestacin, pero es
durante la adolescencia cuando adquiere una mayor importancia.

Es

precisamente en esta poca cuando los padres y educadores deben adoptar un

papel activo en la educacin sexual de los jvenes y adolescentes para que stos
vivan su sexualidad de una forma sana y con responsabilidad. (Moreno, Moreno, &
Lpez, 2001).
El tema de sexualidad no es hablado en las familias por no saber cmo abordar el
tema para concientizar a los hijos, los padres por miedo de no saber cmo
expresarse o por la falta de conocimiento no toman en cuenta la importancia que
tiene este tema en la educacin de los jvenes y adolescentes, para algunos es
tan difcil que prefieren dejar esa responsabilidad a la escuela, amistades o
personas externas, la educacin sexual debe darse primeramente en el seno de
la familia, siendo esto indispensable para la formacin de una identidad sexual
saludable y pautas de conducta responsables en el individuo. (Guillar, Guido,
1987)
Es por esta razn que muchos adolescentes inician su vida sexual a muy
temprana edad sin saber ni conocer las repercusiones que con el paso del tiempo
se presenta, un ejemplo claro de ello es un embarazo inesperado y en muchas
ocasiones enfermedades de transmisin sexual por la falta de conocimiento de
mtodos anticonceptivos que ayudan a proteger de una enfermedad como el sida
o un embarazo. Por ello se ha inculcado la educacin sexual en escuelas
primarias y secundarias como mtodo de prevencin de embarazos a temprana
edad, con ello se nos hace responsables tanto a los jvenes como adolecentes de
nuestros actos con la idea de reflexionar sobre la prctica de la sexualidad.
La sexualidad, es uno de los temas que inevitablemente todas la personas
tenemos que afrontar, saber y estar correctamente informados de todos los
cambios que se efectan en este proceso debido a que la sexualidad es un factor
de gran importancia trascendental en el bienestar fsico y psquico del individuo.

INTRODUCCIN

Sexuality becomes apparent within the first few months of gestation, but it is during
adolescence when acquires greater importance. This is the time when parents and
educators should take an active role in the sex education for adolescents and
young people to live their sexuality in a healthy way and with responsibility.
(Moreno, Moreno, & Lopez, 2001).
The subject of sexuality is not spoken in the families don't know how to deal with
the topic to raise awareness among children, parents for fear of not knowing how
to speak or by the lack of knowledge does not take into account the importance of
this subject in the education of young people and adolescents, for some it is so
difficult that they prefer to leave this responsibility to the school, friends, or external
persons, sex education should be first in the family, this being indispensable for the
formation of a healthy sexual identity and behavior patterns in the individual
responsible. (De Guillar, Guido, 1987)
It is for this reason that many adolescents begin their sexual life at a very early age
without knowing or understanding the impact that with the passage of time
presents a clear example of this is an unexpected pregnancy and on many
occasions sexually transmitted diseases by the lack of knowledge of contraceptive
methods that help protect for a disease such as aids or pregnancy. For this reason
it has instilled the sex education in primary and secondary schools as a method of
prevention of early pregnancies, this makes us responsible to both young people
and adolescents of our acts with the idea to reflect on the practice of sexuality.
Sexuality is one of the topics that inevitably all the people we have to deal with,
know and be well informed of all the changes that are made in this process
because the sexuality is a factor of great importance in the physical and mental
well being of the individual.
