Antes de llegar a Odebrecht como practicante, la tica en los negocios no era
tan clara para m, porque muchos empresarios me decan: no importa lo que
vendas lo importante es obtener utilidades. Otros por ejemplo explotan a sus
trabajadores por ms de !" horas diarias # les pagan el sueldo mnimo, el cual
no es su$ciente para que tanto ellos como su %amilia tengan una calidad de
vida adecuada.
&ero desde que llegu a Odebrecht, la %orma que tena de ver a los negocios
su%ri' un cambio radical, porque esta es una organi(aci'n que se preocupa
mucho por el desarrollo # la reali(aci'n del ser humano. Aqu no ha# je%es, ha#
lderes # liderados que son empresarios con espritu de servir a un cliente. )l
lder transmite sus conocimientos # experiencias a los %uturos lderes con la
$loso%a llamada educaci'n por el trabajo. Adems como responsabilidad social
ha desarrollado muchos pro#ectos de a#uda en las comunidades donde opera.

)n Odebrecht he aprendido que siendo tico, se puede hacer grandes
negocios, solo ha# que %ormar a las personas en s'lidos valores #
tcnicamente, para que desarrollen e$cientemente las labores # as hacer
e$ciente a la empresa, sobre todo motivando a los colaboradores con buenos
sueldos, oportunidades de crecer en la organi(aci'n # preocupndose por el
desarrollo de cada uno # de sus %amilias.
*odo esto me ha motivado mucho para poder emprender mi propio negocio #
as apo#ar a la comunidad donde opere, con trabajo # responsabilidad social.
&orque una empresa no solo debe crearse en busca del bene$cio del
accionista, sino tambin en busca del desarrollo com+n, satis%aciendo a los
clientes, a los colaboradores # generando bienestar a la comunidad.

social programs such as aid projects in the communities .here it operates.

5ere at this compan# 21ve learned that being ethical is necessar# to have a
proli$c business, educating people on solid values and technicall# .ill help
them to develop better in the .or0 and thus ma0e more e6cient the compan#.
Also 2 consider that is necessar# to motivate emplo#ees in special .a#s, %or
example pa#ing them good .ages, giving them opportunities to gro. in the
Organi(ation and .orr#ing about the development o% each one and their
%amilies.
All o% this has much motivated me to start m# o.n business and thus support
the communit# .here trade, .or0 and social responsibilit#. -ecause a compan#
not onl# must create in search o% the bene$t o% the shareholders, but also in
search o% common development, satis%#ing customers, supporters and
generating .ell7being to the communit#.
