HIPERBOLICAS
FUNCIONES TRIGONOMETRICAS
A las funciones trigonométricas a veces se llaman funciones circulares debido a la relación
estrecha que tiene con el circulo x^2 + y^2=1.

En la misma forma ciertas combinaciones de las exponenciales e^x, e^-x se relación con la
hipérbola que son :seno hiperbólico, tangente hiperbólica, cotangente hiperbólica, secante
hiperbólica y cosecante hiperbólica que denotaremos por : senh, cosh, tgh, ctgh, sech, csch
respectivamente.
FUNCIONES HIPERBOLICAS
Se llaman funciones hiperbólicas, porque de alguna manera tienen propiedades similares a las
funciones trigonométricas.

Las funciones hiperbólicas se definen a través de expresiones algebraicas que incluyen


funciones exponenciales e^x y su función inversa e^-x , donde e es la constante de Euler (o
como se le conoce comúnmente “número e”), cuyo valor aproximado es 2,718281. Las
funciones hiperbólicas básicas son seno hiperbólico (sinh) y el coseno hiperbólico (cosh), de
éstos se derivan las demás funciones.
DERIVADAS DE FUNCIONES
HIPERBOLICAS
Encontrar la derivada de cada una de las funciones es solo cuestión de diferenciar las
expresiones exponenciales. Si decimos que el argumento de cada función hiperbólica es u(x) ,
entonces las derivadas generalizadas de las funciones hiperbólicas son:

IMPLICITA
Funciones implícitas
Una correspondencia o una función está definida en forma implícita, cuando no aparece
despejada la variable , sino que la relación entre e viene dada por una ecuación de dos
incógnitas cuyo segundo miembro es cero.

Una vez aclarado este concepto, podemos hablar de las derivadas de las
funciones implícitas.
Derivadas de funciones implícitas
Para hallar la derivada en forma implícita no es necesario despejar . Basta derivar tanto el
miembro derecho como el izquierdo de la igualdad con respecto a la misma variable,
utilizando las reglas vistas hasta ahora y teniendo presente que:
Para calcular la derivada de y con respecto a x se utiliza el procedimiento llamado derivación implícita y que se
describe a continuación
1. Derive ambos lados de la ecuación con respecto a x, utilizando las reglas de derivación.

2. Agrupar todos los términos que contienen la derivada de y con respecto a x en el lado izquierdo de la
ecuación y todos los términos que no contienen la derivada en el lado derecho de la ecuación. La derivada se
puede representar en cualquiera de las formas: (dy/dx) , D x^y o y´.

3. Tome la derivada como factor común en el lado izquierdo de la ecuación.

4. Despeje la derivada trasladando a dividir al lado derecho de la ecuación el factor que la acompaña. La clave
de la derivación implícita consiste en suponer que existe una función y=f(x) aunque esta no se pueda expresar
explícitamente; entonces al aplicar las reglas de derivación para y siempre se debe utilizar la regla de la cadena
ya que y es una función de x.

OJO :Utilice la derivación implícita para calcular la derivada en ecuaciones en donde la variable dependiente
no está expresada explícitamente en términos de la variable independiente; o bien donde despejar la variable
dependiente en términos de la variable independiente resulta ser muy complicado.
