Tienen pendiente negativa.

Las curvas de un mapa de indiferencia no

se pueden cortar entre sí.

Son convexas al origen porque indican la

cantidad que un consumidor está
dispuesto a pagar.

Pueden ser rectas también si los bienes

son considerados por el consumidor
como sustitutos perfectos.

Concept

The way in which the concept of the indifference curve is

linked to that of the budget constraint is that consumers,
having mentally defined the relationships between the
different sets of goods and services among which they are
indifferent, purchase the one that provides them with the
greatest utility, and at the same time does not exceed their
budget constraint. In this way consumers achieve the most
efficient allocation of their limited resources.
