Little Red Riding Hood

Caperucita Roja
Little Red Riding Hood lived in 
a wood with her mother. One
day Little Red Riding Hood 
went to visit her granny. She had
a nice cake in her basket.

Caperucita Roja vivía en un bosque

 con su madre. 
Un día Caperucita Roja fue a visitar
a su abuelita. Ella tenía un bonito 
pastel en su cesta.
On her way Little Red Riding Hood met a
wolf.
‘Hello!’ said the wolf. ‘Where are you going?’
‘I’m going to see my grandmother.
 She lives in a house behind those trees.’

En su camino, Caperucita Roja se encontró 

con un lobo.
Hola", dijo el lobo. ¿Adónde vas?
Voy a ver a mi abuela. 
Vive en una casa detrás de esos árboles".
The wolf ran to Granny’s house and
ate Granny up. 
He got into Granny’s bed. A little
later, Little Red Riding Hood
reached the house. She looked
at the wolf.

El lobo corrió a la casa de la abuela y 

se comió a la abuela.
 Se metió en la cama de la abuela. 
Un poco después, Caperucita Roja 
llegó a la casa. Miró al lobo.
‘Granny, what big eyes you have!’
‘All the better to see you with!’
said the wolf.

"¡Abuela, qué ojos tan grandes tienes!

"¡Mejor para verte!", dijo el lobo.
 "¡Abuela, qué ojos tan grandes tienes!
"¡Mejor para verte a ti!", dijo el lobo.
‘Granny, what big ears you have!’
‘All the better to hear you with!’
said the wolf.

Abuela, ¡qué orejas tan grandes tienes!

Para oírte mejor", dijo el lobo.
‘Granny, what a big nose you have!’
‘All the better to smell you with!’
said the wolf.

"¡Abuela, qué nariz tan grande tienes!

Tanto mejor para olerte", dijo el lobo.
‘Granny, what big teeth you have!’
‘All the better to eat you with!’ 
shouted the wolf.

"¡Abuela, qué dientes tan grandes tienes!

"¡Mejor para comerte!", gritó el lobo.
A woodcutter was nearby and heard
Little Red Riding Hood's cry. The 
woodcutter hit the wolf on the head.
 The wolf opened his mouth wide
andscreamed and the grandmother
 jumped out.

Un leñador estaba cerca y oyó el grito 

de Caperucita Roja. El leñador golpeó 
al lobo en la cabeza. El lobo abrió mucho 
la boca y gritó y la abuela saltó.
The wolf ran away and Little Red
Riding Hood never saw the wolf 
again, Little Red Riding Hood
arrived home with her 
grandmother and the hunter.

El lobo huyó y Caperucita no volvió 

a ver al lobo, caperucita llego a su casa
 acompañada de su abuelita y el cazador
