 introducción
■ The exploitation is carried out in an open pit, with trucks
that operate autonomously.
■ The production process is made up of the stages of
crushing (primary, secondary and tertiary),
■ curing in acidifying drums, leaching in dynamic heaps,
waste disposal, solvent extraction (SX), electrowinning
(EW), and its production of cathodes is transported to the
port of Mejillones.

■ LA División Gabriela Mistral, cuenta con una
participación de mujeres tanto en las áreas productivas
como administrativas, equivalente al 20% de su
dotación de trabajadores directos,
■ Esto la convierte en la empresa minera que posee el
mayor porcentaje de mujeres en Chile.
■ El potencial productivo es aproximadamente 170.000
toneladas anuales de cobre fino.
