Sitio de entrada atreves de vías respiratorias superiores. La
replicación se realiza en la superficie de la mucosa nasal
produciendo fenómenos inflamatorios, edema, infiltración
celular, secreción y descamación de las células de la
superficie de la mucosa. Se pueden encontrar elevadas
concentraciones de virus en los primeros días de la
enfermedad, a partir de entonces los títulos virales
descienden aunque persisten los síntomas.

CONCLUSIONES
Rinovirus pertenece a la familia picornaviridae,
causante del resfriado común y exacerbación de
asma , con más de 100 serotipos, período de
incubación de 1 a 4 días, se presenta en épocas como
otoño y primavera, afectando vías aéreas superiores,
ocasionando tos, malestar general, cefalea, fiebre, su
diagnóstico a través de la clínica y pruebas de
laboratorio, el tratamiento es sintomático
