SISTEMA RESPIRATORIO
1. The nostrils are the two entry points to the respiratory system.
They are on the inside of the nose. They heat, moisten and filter
the air.

respiratorio. Están en el interior de la nariz. Calientan, humedecen y
filtran el aire.
3. The larynx contains the vocal cords. These vibrate and make a
sound.

un sonido.
4. The trachea or windpipe is a solid tube that carries
air to the lungs via the bronchi.
4.-La tráquea o tubo traqueal es un conducto sólido que
transporta aire a los pulmones a través de los bronquios.
7. The diaphragm is a muscle that contracts and relaxes to
let us breathe in and out.
7.El diafragma es un músculo que se contrae y se relaja para
permitirnos inhalar y exhalar.
2. The pharynx moisten: make wet. connects the larynx, the
oesophagus and the trachea.
2. La faringe humedece: la hace húmeda. Conecta la laringe, el
esófago y la tráquea.
5. The bronchi are two branches of the trachea. They divide into
smaller tubes called bronchioles, that carry air to the lungs.
5. Los bronquios son dos ramificaciones de la tráquea. Se dividen
en tubos más pequeños llamados bronquiolos, que transportan
aire a los pulmones.
6. The lungs are two spongy organs formed by the
pulmonary alveoli, which is where gas exchange
occurs.
