Nik 6 Viveza es una herramienta diseñada para reelaborar los colores y tonos
(luminosidad y contraste) de tus imágenes. Tanto a nivel global como local, gracias
a puntos de control y líneas de control.
Estos le permiten animar o atenuar los colores alterando el tono, la saturación y la
luminosidad; También podrás modificar el contraste y microcontraste de tus
imágenes.

Cuando se abre la imagen

Cuando abres una imagen en Nik Viveza, aparece tal como está en la aplicación
host o como está en el disco duro si estás usando el modo independiente. No se
aplican correcciones, filtros ni ajustes preestablecidos en esta etapa y todos los
controles deslizantes en el panel derecho están configurados en 0, de forma
predeterminada.

En el panel izquierdo, Nik Viveza ofrece 14 configuraciones diferentes de la siguiente

para la corrección global de imágenes como para ajustes selectivos mediante
puntos de control y líneas de control:

Tonos selectivos: controles deslizantes que afectan los rangos de brillo.
Niveles y curvas: herramientas avanzadas de corrección y ajuste de brillo y

Ajustes selectivos: creación y gestión de puntos de control. Al activarlos, se
muestran controles deslizantes equivalentes a la configuración global, tonalidad
selectiva, así como un selector de color y controles deslizantes de selectividad de
color.
Niveles y curvas : Herramientas avanzadas de ajuste de brillo y contraste.

Descripción general
Las funciones de la paleta son las siguientes:
Todos los controles deslizantes tienen una configuración predeterminada del 0%.
Los controles deslizantes que afectan el brillo y la tonalidad van de oscuro a la
izquierda a más brillante a la derecha.
Los controles deslizantes que afectan el color y los efectos son menos intensos
hacia la izquierda y más intensos hacia la derecha.
Para restablecer un control deslizante a su valor predeterminado, haga doble clic

La paleta de Ajustes Globales de Nik Viveza se divide en dos secciones:

1. Ajustes globales: corrección de brillo, contraste de color y efecto de estructura
(mejora de detalles).
2. Tonos selectivos: corrección de brillo por gamas tonales (tonos claros, tonos
medios, sombras, negros).

Los controles deslizantes están configurados en 0% de forma predeterminada y,

para restablecer un control deslizante, simplemente haga doble clic en él. Para
restablecer todas las correcciones, haga clic en la flecha curva en la parte superior
derecha.
Los controles deslizantes globales que se describen a continuación afectan a toda la
imagen; los mismos controles deslizantes aparecen en la paleta de ajustes
selectivos tan pronto como se crea un punto de control y/o una línea de control y se
fija a la imagen.
Brillo *: ajusta el brillo, más oscuro a la izquierda, más claro a la derecha.
Contraste : ajusta el contraste, es decir, la diferencia de luminosidad entre las
partes oscuras y claras de la imagen. Hacia la izquierda, la imagen será más plana
y menos saturada, hacia la derecha, la imagen será más impactante y más
saturada.

Saturación : actúa sobre el brillo de los colores, más vivos hacia la derecha, y cada
vez menos saturados hacia la izquierda, hasta obtener una imagen
completamente gris.
Estructura : refuerza los detalles y da más picante a la imagen. Ubicado a la
izquierda, el control deslizante suaviza los detalles.
Sombras : ajusta el brillo de las áreas oscuras de la imagen.
Calidez : ajustado a la izquierda, enfría los colores (hacia el azul), ajustado a la
derecha, calienta los colores (hacia amarillo/naranja).
Rojo : te permite mitigar un color dominante (más cian a la izquierda, más rojo a
la derecha).
Verde : te permite mitigar un color dominante (más magenta a la izquierda, más
verde a la derecha).
Azul : te permite mitigar un color dominante (más amarillo a la izquierda, más
azul a la derecha).
Tono : desplaza el conjunto de colores hacia sus tonalidades opuestas (por
ejemplo, el azul del cielo se vuelve magenta hacia la derecha, o verde hacia la
izquierda).

Controles deslizantes de tonos selectivos

Destacados : movido hacia la izquierda, este control deslizante recupera
información y detalles en las partes más brillantes de la imagen, especialmente
aquellas cercanas al recorte (extremo derecho del histograma). Movido hacia la
derecha, permite dar más brillo a los tonos más claros.
Medios tonos : este control deslizante afecta los medios tonos (que se muestran
en la sección central del histograma).
Sombras : este control deslizante te permite aclarar las sombras y las partes
oscuras de una imagen.
Negros : mover el control deslizante hacia la derecha te permite establecer el
“punto negro” (extremo izquierdo del histograma) y así evitar recortar las partes
más oscuras de la imagen. Por el contrario, moviendo el control deslizante hacia
la izquierda, hará que las áreas más oscuras de la imagen sean aún más densas.

La herramienta Balance de blancos le permite restaurar colores naturales y

equilibrados y compensar la presencia de colores dominantes. Por supuesto,

Change or fine-tune white balance

Reset and compare

You can reset the white balance and compare it to the image opened in Nik Viveza :
Reset the temperature: double-click the Temperature slider.
To reset the white balance: Click the curved arrow in the White Balance palette in
the right panel.

heading.

Selective Adjustments allow you to change only certain parts of the image. Add a
control point, and slider settings for that point will only affect the subjects or areas
within the zone covered by the control point.

Selective Adjustment sliders

When using control points or control lines, the Selective Adjustments palette
displays, under the list of points and control lines, the cursors associated with the
point or the active control line. These sliders are also available directly attached to
the control point or to the control line dot. When using one of the sliders of a
control point or a control line, the corresponding slider will also be changed in the
right panel, and vice versa.
All sliders in the selective adjustments palette have their equivalents in the global
settings, with the exception of Luminance, Chrominance, Diffusion and Selective
Colorization.

Active only with the selective adjustments, the eyedropper allows you to pick a hue
from the image and apply it to the active control point. For example, if the control
point is set to blue sky and you pick a green from the vegetation, the control point

will apply that hue to that location in the image. The picked color appears in the
color picker box to the right of the dropper.
Once you have picked the color, the Selective Adjustments sliders will display
settings that you can change as you wish.

You can also click on the tile to the right of the dropper, provided that a control
point is active (by default, the tile is gray). This will open the color picker of the
operating system, where you can choose a color that will be immediately applied to
the active control point.
Again, you can use the Selective Adjustments sliders to adjust the chosen color.

Global strengthening pf contrast and saturation using the RGB curve.

The Curve lets you fine tune or completely rework the contrast of your image, by
altering the curve either globally or by using the RGB channels and the Level
sliders:
The curve also lets you alter the colors by modifying them or compensating for a
dominant.
It is composed of the following items:
RGB button: this is selected by default and is used to adjust the brightness and
contrast of your image without altering the colors. The histogram represents the 3
RGB channels combined, and the curve is white.
The R, G, and B buttons: let you adjust the brightness of the Red, Green or Blue
channels, to attenuate or reinforce their respective dominance. The histogram
represents the selected channel and the curve takes the color of the chosen
channel (red, green, or blue curve).
Curve: click on the curve and hold down the left mouse button to adjust it. You
can add anchor points to the curve, which lets you lock the contrast settings to
specific points on the curve, and therefore on the image. To remove an anchor
point, double-click it.

Levels sliders: Move the Shadows (left), Midtones (center), or Highlight (right)
sliders to adjust their respective ranges.
Reset: The double arrow at the top of the Levels and Curves palette opens a pop-
up menu where you can reset the settings of the active channel, or all applied
settings.

You can create your own Nik Viveza preset by changing the settings of an existing
preset:
1. In the Presets palette in the left panel, click the presets you want to add to the
right panel. You can also use an existing setting in one of the Custom, Import or
Last edits sections.
2. Proceed to the desired settings in the palettes in the right panel.
3. Click Save Preset then name it and click save in the dialog box that appears (you
can also save your control points and/or control lines using the checkbox in the
dialog).
