Principio del método: Identificación de la presencia de SARS-CoV-2 a través de retrotranscripción y posterior amplificación a
tiempo real de la secuencia diana con el uso de oligonucleotidos específicos y sonda marcada con fluorescencia que hibridan la
región diana conservada de los genes ORF1ab y N.

Interpretación
Un resultado POSITIVO significa presencia de carga viral al momento de la toma de muestra (amplificación de los dos genes
analizados ORF1ab y N y del control interno).

Un resultado NEGATIVO significa ausencia de carga viral al momento de la toma de muestra (sin amplificación de los genes
analizados, amplificación del control interno).

Método: Reacción en cadena de la polimerasa-transcriptasa reversa en tiempo real (RT-PCR).

and N and of the internal control).

A NEGATIVE result means no viral load at the time of sampling (no amplification of the analyzed genes, amplification of the internal
control).
