1) Advertencia

Por favor, lea este manual de instrucciones antes de la instalación del sistema de reja automatizada.
Este manual está destinado exclusivamente para personal calificado en la instalación del sistema.
Powertech Automation Inc. no es responsable en caso de instalación inadecuada o de incumplimiento de los reglamentos eléctri-
cos y de construcción.

Conserve todos los componentes del sistema Fenix 600 - 601 y este manual para consultas.

• Por favor, preste especial atención a los contenidos marcados con el símbolo:

• Sea consciente de los peligros que puedan existir en los procedimientos de la instalación y el funcionamiento del sistema del
automatismo.

• La instalación debe ser llevada a cabo en conformidad con las normas y regulaciones locales.

• No utilice el sistema de reja automática antes de que todas las instrucciones hayan sido leídas y todos los procedimientos se hayan

• Pruebe el sistema semanalmente y haga que personal calificado revise y de mantenimiento a la instalación al menos cada 6 meses.

• Instale señales de advertencia (si es necesario) en ambos lados de la reja para advertir a la gente en el área de peligro potencial.

2) Descripci6n y Aplicaciones del Producto

2.1 lnformaci6n General

Fénix 600 - 601 es aplicable para las puertas con 3.0 / 4.5 metros de ancho (por hoja) y 450/550 kg de peso, principalmente para uso
residencial. El rendimiento del Fénix 600-601 puede estar influido por la dimensión de la puerta, el peso y el clima.

2.2 Herramientas Necesarias para la lnstalación

Asegúrese de que todas las herramientas y cables estén listos y que cumplan con el estandar de seguridad industrial antes de la
instalación

2.3 lnstalación

El procedimiento de instalación de Fenix 600- 601 puede cambiar debido a diferentes accesorios y cantidades instaladas. El diagra-
ma de cableado básico se muestra en la Figura 2.

No se suministran los cables para los accesorios con Fénix 600-601.

2.4 Conexión de Los Cables

Fénix 600-601 se requiere conectar el cable de dos núcleos. Se aconseja a los usuarios que lean este manual de instalaci6n deteni-
damente antes de la instalación. Después de decidir la posición de todos los accesorios, comience por la disposición del conducto
del cable para evitar que los cables se rompan o se dañen.

2.5 Conexión de La Alimentación

1. La instalación del cable de alimentaci6n al cerebro electrónico debe ser realizada por un electricista profesional calificado.
2. Asegúrese de apagar la alimentación antes de la instalación o el mantenimiento.

3. instalación

3.1 Preparación del motor para la lnstalación

1). Asegúrese de que los pesos y las dimensiones de las puertas se ajusten al rango de operación del Fénix 600-601. Si las especifica-
ciones de la puerta no cumplen con los requisitos por favor no lo use.

2). Asegúrese de que la estructura de la puerta cumpla con los criterios de operación automática y las regulaciones de fuerza.

3). Asegúrese de que no exista ningún obstáculo en el recorrido de apertura o cierre de las puertas.

4). Asegúrese de que la puerta este a nivel horizontal para que no se mueva en ninguna posición.

5). Asegúrese de que la puerta pueda soportar el impacto de la torsión de motor cuando se instale en cualquier orificio del soporte
cuya superficie sea lo suficientemente resistente.

6). Asegúrese de que las fotocéldas estén instaladas en superficies planas para garantizar que los dos extremos de recepción y
transmisión se correspondan entre sí.

7). Verifique las dimensiones de los motores como se muestra a continuación.

8) Asegúrese de dejar suficiente espacio cuando se abra la puerta.

9) Consulte la tabla del ángulo de apertura por hoja a continuación

10). El valor de "B" puede ser calculado a partir del valor de "A" y el ángulo de apertura de las hojas. Ej. Si "A" = 160mm con un ángulo
de apertura de las hojas de 100 grados, entonces el valor de "B" es de aproximadamente 190 mm.

**Por favor, verifique que "B" y "A" son similares o iguales en valor y que las hojas se pueden operar sin problemas, también para
reducir la carga del motor.

3.2 lnstalación de los Motores

1. Elija las dimensiones correctas de los motores y la posición apropiada a instalar.

2. Compruebe si la superficie de montaje de los soportes es lisa, vertical y rígida.

3. Organice el conducto del cable para el cable de alimentaci6n de los motores.

4. Con el fin de obtener el 6ptimo apoyo de la placa trasera, par favor acople dos soportes del montante y una placa metálica poste-
rior según la Figura 18.

5. Retire la cubierta del motor coma se muestra en la Figura 19

6. Coloque las puertas en posición cerrada

7. Refiérase a la distancia de "B" en la Figura 21, coloque el montaje trasero en la posición correcta e inspeccione bien la distancia
para el montaje delantero antes de instalar.

8. Coloque dos soportes de retención en la superficie donde va a instalar y marque los puntos de perforación, luego perfore 4
agujeros con diámetro mínimo 8mm y fije los soportes con las tornillos y arandelas.

9. Por favor, asegúrese de que el montaje delantero este instalado completamente horizontal.

11. Fije el montaje delantero del motor temporalmente en la puerta.

12. Levante el motor e inserte los tornillos en el montaje delantero.

13. Conecte el cable de alimentación del motor coma se muestra en la Figura 24.

14. Desbloqueo del motor

1) Abra la tapa de encima. (Figura 25)
2) Levante la parte de liberación hasta el final. (Figura 26)
3) Inserte la llave y gire en sentido horario para liberar. (Figura 27)

3.3 Ajuste de los Finales de Carrera

Procedimientos:

1. Afloje los tornillos y deslice la cubierta hacia afuera. (Figura 28)

2. Afloje los tornillos de las finales de carrera y ajuste a la posición apropiada. (Figura 29)
3. Apriete los tornillos y vuelva a colocar la tapa.

1. Durante la operación del motor, el indicador LED azul en el costado encenderá.

2. Cuando el motor llega a ambos extremos, el LED rojo se encenderá para indicar que la puerta ya llega al límite.

1) Warnings

Please read this instruction manual carefully before the installation of gate-automated system.

This manual is exclusively for qualified installation personnel. Powertech Electronics Inc. is not responsible for improper installation
and failure to comply with local electrical and building regulations.

Keep all the components of Fénix 600 - 601 system and this manual for further consultation.

• In this manual, please pay extra attention to the contents marked by the symbol:

• Be aware of the hazards that may exist in the procedures of installation and operation of the gate-automated system. Besides, the
installation must be carried out in conformity with local standards and regulations.

• If the system is correctly installed and used following all the standards and regulations, it will ensure a high degree of safety.

• Make sure that the gates works properly before installing the gate-automated system and confirm the gates are appropriate for
the application.

• Do not let children operate or play with the gate-automated system. Do not cross the path of the gate-automated system when
operating.

• Please keep all the control devices and any other pulse generator away from children to avoid the gate-automated system being
activated accidentally.

• Do not make any modifications to any components except that it is mentioned in this manual.

• Do not try to manually open or close the gates before you release the gear motor.

• If there is a failure that cannot be solved and is not mentioned in this manual, please contact qualified installation personnel.

• Do not use the gate-automated system before all the procedures and instructions have been carried out and thoroughly read.

• Test the gate-automated system weekly and have qualified installation personnel to check and maintain the system at least every
6-month.

• Install warning signs (if necessary) on the both sides of the gate to warn the people in the area of potential hazards.

2) Product Description and Applications

2.1 General Information

The Fénix 600 - 601 gate openers are applicable for 3.0/4.5 meters per leaf in width and 450/550 kg in weight and primarily for
residential use. The performance of Fénix 600 - 601 will be influenced by the gate dimension, weight and climate.

2.2 Tools need for Installation

Please make sure all tools and cables are ready and conform to the industrial safety standard before installation.

2.3 Installation

The installation procedure of PW530 might be changed due to different accessories and quantities installed.
The basic wiring diagram is shown in Figure 2 .
No wiring cables for accessories are supplied with Fénix 600 - 601.

2.4 Cable Connection

Penix 600 - 601 is required to connect two cores wire, which requires very low voltage and non-professionally trained personnel is
required in installation; however, the users are advised to read this installation manual carefully before installation. After decided
the position of all accessories, please starting from cable conduit arrangement to prevent the cables from being broken or dama-
ged

2.5 Power Connection

1. The installation of power supply cable to the control box should be carried out by a qualified professional electrician.

2. Please make sure to shut off the power before installation or maintenance.

3. Installation

3.1 Preparation for Motor Installation

Check the following items before going for installation:

1). Make sure the weight and dimensions of gate conform to the operation range of Penix 600 - 601. Don’t use Penix 600 - 601 if the
gate specifications did not meet the requirements.
2). Make sure the gate structure conform to the criteria of automatic operation and force regulations.
3). Make sure there is no serious friction existing in the opening or closing travel of the gate leaves.
4). Make sure the gate is at horizontal level that the gate will not move aside at any position.
5). Make sure the gate can bear the impact of the motor torque when it is installed on any hole of the bracket which the surface is
sufficiently sturdy.
6). Make sure the photo sensors are installed on flat surfaces to ensure the two ends of receiving and transmitting corresponded to
each other.
7). Check the dimensions of the motors as below.

8). Make sure to leave enough space when the gate is opening.

9) Using the leaf-opening angle reference chart below

A. Without limit switches

10). The value of “B” can be calculated from the value of “A” and the leaves opening angle. Ex. If “A”=160mm with the leaves opening
angle of 100 degrees, then the value of “B” is approximate 190mm.

**Please make sure “B” and “A” are similar or the same in value that the leaves can be operated smoothly, also to reduce the burden
of the motor.

3.2 Installation of the motor

1. Choose the correct dimensions of the motors and position to be installed.

2. Check if the brackets mounting surface is smooth, vertical and rigid.

3. Arrange the cable conduit for power supply cable of the motors.

4. In order to obtain the optimal supporting from the rear plate, please assemble two post brackets and one rear metal plate accor-
ding to Figure 18.

5. Remove the back cover of the motor as shown in Figure 19

6. Place the door leaves at the closed position.

7. Refer to the distance of “B” in Figure 21, place the rear plate in the correct position on the mounting surface.

8. Place two post brackets on the surface to be installed and mark the drilling points, then drill minimum diameter of 8mm holes by
four on the mounting surface to be installed and fasten up the brackets with screws and washers.

9. Please make sure the front plate is completely installed horizontally.

11. Clamp and fix the motor front plate on the door temporarily.

12. Lift up the motor and insert the screws into the front plate.

13. Connect the motor power cable as shown in Figure24.

14. Gear Motor Release

1) Open the rubber cover. See Figure 25
2) Lift the release part to the end. See Figure 26
3) Insert the key and turn clockwise to release. See Figure 27

3.3 Limit switch adjustment

Procedures:
1. Loosen the screws and slide the cover out.
2. Loosen the screws on the Limit Switches and adjust to the proper position.
3. Tight up the screws and put the cover back.

1. During motor operation, the Blue LED indicator on the side will show.

A. When motor traveled to the both ends, the Red LED will show to indicate the door already open to the limit.
