Ronald Torbay was a skilled, clever murderer that planning his third kil: his third
wife. He follows a pattern: targeting middle-aged, wealthy, unattached women,
marrying them, and then manipulating them into changing their wills to leave
everything to him. His first wife's death was disguised as a bathroom accident,
drawing minimal attention. The second wife's demise raised suspicion from her
brother, but Ronald successfully claimed her insurance payout.
His next victim, Edyth, raises red flags by being cautious with her finances and
probing into his life. Ronald plans her demise by staging another bath accident.
However, his scheme backfires when Edyth, suspicious of his intentions, contacts
the police and leaves incriminating evidence in a letter addressed to him.
As Ronald waits to 'discover' Edyth's body, he finds the incriminating letter and
realizes his new neighbors are undercover police officers investigating him. The
letter reveals Edyth's suspicions and actions, ultimately leading to Ronald's
impending arrest as the police close in on him.
