En este documento, presentamos el concepto de derivada parcial como apoyo para el desarrollo
de la actividad 2. Iniciaremos recordando la derivada de las funciones más usadas en el cálculo
diferencial.

La derivada parcial de una función de varias variables es la derivada respecto a cada una de sus
variables manteniendo las otras como constantes.

Al igual que en el cálculo diferencial, es posible hacer la composición de funciones en
varias variables y para derivar dichas funciones hacemos uso de la regla de la cadena, dos
casos particulares que presentamos a continuación:
