former minister from Cusco, Gastón Acurio Velarde and Jesusa Jaramillo
Rázuri, he studied at the Santa María Marianistas School in Lima. In 1987, he
attended law school at the Complutense University of Madrid. In 1989, she left
the university and enrolled in hotel school in Madrid, where she lived for two
years.
In 1991, he enrolled at the Cordon Bleu in Paris to study cooking. During his
stay in Paris, he met the German Astrid Gutsche and married her. In 1993, the
couple returned to Peru and in 1994 opened the Astrid & Gaston restaurant in
the Miraflores district of Lima. Initially, the restaurant's menu offered only
classic French cuisine. Over time, Acurio began experimenting with Peruvian
ingredients and revalidating local cuisine.
In 2000, Astrid & Gaston opened a branch in Chile. It was chosen in 2008 and
2010 as the best restaurant in the country.
In 2012, the most important gastronomic ranking in the world mentions the
Peruvian restaurant Astrid & Gastón. The following year, 2013, it receives the
highest climber award, for having climbed the most positions in a single year.
That same year, the publication Restaurant Magazine chooses Astrid &
Gastón the Best Restaurant in Latin America.

Matias.
Since she was very young she practiced surfing since she lived very close
to the beach, besides surfing was the family sport, her taste became bigger
because her brothers also practiced it and she also wanted to be part of it.
When she was only 9 years old, little Sofia would go to the beach with her
brothers and would spend hours watching them and riding the board.
Her goal for the future is to improve her surfing in every way and to be able
to show all her talent in the world championship. Despite being a world
champion, she doesn't feel perfect in her sport. She is not only thinking
about winning the title, Sofia concentrates on every wave and every heat
she rides, at this point, she feels more than ready to win the world title again
JOSE MARIA ARGUEDAS
Jorge Mario Pedro Vargas Llosa was born on Sunday, March 28, 1936 in
the city of Arequipa (Peru). His parents, Ernesto Vargas Maldonado and
Dora Llosa Ureta, were already separated when he was born and he did not
meet his father until he was ten years old.
He studied elementary school until the fourth grade at the Colegio La Salle
de Cochabamba in Bolivia. In 1945 his family returns to Peru and settles in
the city of Piura, where he attends fifth grade at the Salesian School in that
city. He completes his primary education in Lima and begins high school at
Colegio La Salle.
The reunion with his father means a change in the formation of the
adolescent, who enters the Leoncio Prado Military School in Lima, where he
only studies the third and fourth year; however, he finishes high school at
the San Miguel School in Piura.
Lionel Andrés Messi Cuccittini was born in Rosario, Argentina, on June 24,
1987. He started playing in the local Club "Grandoli" when he was only 6
years old and motivated by his grandmother; there his unstoppable champion
spirit already stood out and he soon signed for Newell's Old Boys a few
months later. His playing technique was spectacular and from the very
beginning he took on a leading role in the children's team.
Lionel Messi was also part of the team known as "the '87 Machine", who
stood out as Newell's best children's team due to the number of goals they
scored.
In 1997, being shorter than his teammates and siblings, his parents took
Messi to the doctor. He would be diagnosed with a lack of growth hormone
and would begin a treatment that would be effective but very expensive for
his family.
Looking for a solution to pay for the hormone and for Leo's sporting
development, his dad took him to try out for River Plate. Just a couple of
touches made the coaches interested in the little boy, but the pass was not
possible due to disagreements with Newell's.
At the age of 12, and after Newell's Old Boys did not agree to pay for his
treatment, Messi traveled to Barcelona with his father to try out at Camp Nou.
After seeing him, FC Barcelona decided to sign him and subsidize his
treatment.
