Grammar
En la última unidad del trimestre hemos comenzado a hablar en pasado. En concreto el
verbo to be (ser o estar)

¿Estuvieron tus abuelos aquí el fin de semana pasada? Sí, (ellos) estuvieron /
No, (ellos) no estuvieron.

¿Estuviste en el cole el jueves? Sí, (yo) estuve / No, (yo) no estuve

Ya aprendimos el año pasado a decir si hay algo en algún sitio, usando There is
(cuando hay una sola cosa) o There are (si hay más de una). Aplicando lo visto en la
primera parte del tema y cambiando el verbo to be de presente a pasado, podemos
preguntar en pasado si había algo en alguna parte.

Cuando formulamos una pregunta, invertimos el orden, quedando de la siguiente

manera:

¿Había una bufanda en la habitación?

Sí, la había. / No, no la había.

¿Habían unas botas en la habitación?

Sí, habían. / No habían
