The first partial solar eclipse will occur on April

30, 2022. Although it will be visible in South

America, this astronomical event will
unfortunately not be visible in Mexico.
Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Argentina and
Chile are some of the countries that will be able
to observe the eclipse of April 30, 2022 in all its
splendor.
Accompanying this unique astronomical event, a
'black moon' will appear. Elizabeth Gamillo,
science journalist for Smithsonian Magazine,
explains that, although this "not an official
astronomical term", it describes the astronomical
phenomenon "that occurs when a second new
moon falls in a single calendar month".(borrador)

The early morning between April 30 and May 1

will be the setting for this rare, completely blacked
out Moon. It gets its name from the shadowing
that happens “when the side of the moon that
faces the Earth is completely covered in shadows
and is almost invisible”. This will be the only time
it will be presented in 2022.

pesar de que será visible en Sudamérica, este evento astronómico
desafortunadamente no podrá apreciarse en México.

Acompañando a este evento astronómico único, aparecerá una ‘luna

negra’. Elizabeth Gamillo, periodista de ciencia para Smithsonian

oficial», describe al fenómeno astronómico «que ocurre cuando cae

La madrugada entre el 30 de abril y el 1º de mayo será escenario

para esta Luna rara, completamente oscurecida. Recibe el nombre
del ensombrecimiento que sucede «cuando el lado de la luna que
mira hacia la Tierra está completamente envuelto en sombras y es
casi invisible». Ésta será la única ocasión que se presentará en 2022.
