Using energy has made human progress possible. However, the production and use of energy have consequences
on the environment. The negative consequences of energy production are called environmental impacts. These
impacts are damaging the environment and threatening our planet’s natural resources.

El uso de la energía ha hecho posible el progreso humano. Sin embargo, la producción y el uso de energía tiene
consecuencias en el medio ambiente. Las consecuencias negativas de la producción de energía se llaman impactos
