I hate the idea of washing dishes.
He is not very good at cooking.
He is thinking of leaving the country.
Examples:
He admitted having stolen the money.
They are considering moving again.
I enjoy playing football.

She can´t help loving you.
I´m used to living on my own.

2) Se usa el infinitivo
Después de adjetivos:
Example: It's easy to love him.
Examples:
I want to win the lottery
I decided to attend the meeting
2. Con verbos como 'like', 'dislike', 'hate', 'love', 'prefer' en ingles británico
generalmente (prácticamente siempre) utilizamos la forma –ing
Ex: I don´t like being late
Sin embargo, en las oraciones condicionales se suele usar el infinitivo con 'to'.
Ex: I´d like to dance with you
En algunos casos, con algunos verbos en particular, el uso de un infinitivo o –ing
cambia el significado de la oración:
1. Remember/forget
+ '-ing form'. Se refiere a recordar u olvidar algo que ocurrió en el pasado.
Ex: I remember switching off the lights when I went out.
2.Stop
+ '-ing form' significa dejar de hacer algo.
Ex: I stop making noise.
3. Try
+ '-ing form' significa 'experimentar'.
Ex: Why don´t you try sending her flowers?
4.Go on
+ -ing form significa 'continuar haciendo algo'.
Ex: My boss went on discussing the new project.
5. Regret
+ -ing form se refiere a lamentar algo que ocurrió en el pasado.
Ex: I regret saying that.
7. Like
+ -ing form se utiliza para expresar que algo gusta mucho.
Ex: I like dancing.
