Se trata de una ecuación con coeficientes variables cuya solución general siempre
se puede expresar en términos de funciones trigonométricas, logarítmicas y
exponenciales.
𝑦1 = 𝑥 𝑚1 ; 𝑦2 = 𝑥 𝑚2
𝑦 = 𝐶1 ∗ 𝑥 𝑚1 + 𝐶2 ∗ 𝑥 𝑚2
𝑦 = 𝐶1 ∗ 𝑥 𝑚1 + 𝐶2 ∗ 𝑥 𝑚2 + ⋯ + 𝐶𝑘 ∗ 𝑥 𝑚𝑘
CASO 2 (Raíces reales repetidas): Cuando tenemos raíces reales tales que 𝑚1 =
𝑚2 la solución general nos queda:
𝑦 = 𝐶1 ∗ 𝑥 𝑚1 + 𝐶2 ∗ 𝑥 𝑚1 ∗ 𝐿𝑛(𝑥 )
CASO 3 (Raíces complejas conjugadas): Cuando tenemos las raíces complejas tal
que 𝑚1 = 𝛼 + 𝑖 ∗ 𝛽 y 𝑚2 = 𝛼 − 𝑖 ∗ 𝛽, donde 𝛼, 𝛽 > 0 la solución nos queda:

𝑚2 − 4𝑚 + 4 = 0
(𝑚 − 2)2 = 0
Multiplicidad 𝑘 = 2
𝑚−2=0

𝑦1 = 𝑥 2
𝑦2 = 𝑥 2 ∗ 𝐿𝑛(𝑥)
Recordando el modelo de la solución para el Caso 2 (Raíces Reales Repetidas):
