NEGATIVE PAST SENTENCES WITH COMMON VERBS
(Oraciones negativas con verbos comunes en pasado )

Las oraciones negativas con verbos comunes (es decir todos los verbos excepto el verbo be,
can) requieren la utilización del auxiliar “did” para todos los sujetos de la oración; es decir:

Unidos a la partícula “not” es: did not y se ubica antes del verbo común.

a) I did not work yesterday morning.

b) They did not supply all the material on time last week.

c) She did not buy new material in the main market two months ago.

d) Robert and I did not identify that customer last Saturday.

NOTA 1: el auxiliar did y la partícula not también pueden usarse en su forma contraída:

did not = didn’t

NOTA 2: los verbos después del auxiliar did deben estar en su forma básica (sin
modificar).
