BASIC ENGLISH READING

SKILLS FOR PROGRAMMING

CICLO 4
(25 Horas)
JUSTIFICACIÓN
La transformación del mundo actual, con su principal característica de
globalización de las relaciones internacionales, nos ofrece una serie de
oportunidades y desafíos, entre ellos la necesidad de adoptar una lengua como
comunicación internacional, para así ganar acceso al mundo laboral. El
Programa de Basic English Reading Skills for Programming está diseñado con el
propósito de ayudar a los participantes a iniciar un proceso de aprendizaje que los
incentive a continuar capacitándose para así poder enfrentar el reto de responder
a las exigencias laborales propias del mundo global.
RESULTADOS DE APRENDIZAJE
Al finalizar el curso, el estudiante estará en capacidad de:

➢ Identificar vocabulario referente al desarrollo de sitios web y al futuro de la programación.


➢ Aplicar estrategias de lectura tales como skimming y scanning, predicting, making
connections, summarizing y guessing meaning from context para identificar información
general y específica en textos escritos relacionados con lenguajes de programación.
➢ Inferir el significado de vocabulario desconocido a través del análisis de palabras y su
contexto en textos relacionados al desarrollo de sitios web y al futuro de la programación.
➢ Reconocer estructuras gramaticales propias del nivel elemental alto como apoyo a la
comprensión de textos.
EVALUACIÓN
La evaluación de este ciclo se dará de manera continua tomando en cuenta los
procesos cognitivos aplicados para la comprensión de textos, el uso de vocabulario
y estructuras gramaticales propias del nivel elemental alto A2 en relación con temas
generales de la programación.
La nota final del curso se calculará de la siguiente manera:
