El subjuntivo después de expresiones indeterminadas

El subjuntivo es usado después de las siguientes expresiones cuando refieren un tiempo,

condición, persona, lugar o cosa indefinida, indeterminada, imprecisa o insegura.
Los pronombres relativos, adjetivos o adverbios adjuntos a -quiera:

Adondequiera to wherever
Dondequiera Wherever
Cuandoquiera Whenever
Quienquiera Whoever
Cualquier(a) Whatever, whichever
Comoquiera However

Ejemplos:

1. Adondequiera que tú vayas, encontrarás campesinos oprimidos.

Wherever you (may) go, you will find oppressed peasants.

2. Dondequiera que esté, lo encontraré.

Wherever it is, I´ll find it.

3. Cuandoquiera que lleguen, comeremos.

We will eat whenever they arrive.

4. Quienquiera que encuentre la pintura, recibirá mucho dinero.

Whoever finds the painting Will receive a lot of money.

5. A pesar de cualquier disculpa que ofrezca, tendrá que pagar la multa.

(In spite of) Whatever excuse he may offer, he will have to pay the fine.

6. Comoquiera que lo hagan, no podrán solucionar el problema.

However they may do it, they will not be able to solve the problem.

Por + Adjetivo o adverbio + que (however, no matter how):

Ejemplo:

1. Por difícil que sea, lo haré.

No matter how difficult it may be, I will do it.

2. Por mucho que digas, no la convencerás.

No matter how much you say, you will not convince her.
