Workers Day
France has always stood out for its great revolutionary spirit. For this reason, it is not surprising
that among the most important days of the year for French men and women is the Labor Day
holiday which, as in Spain, is celebrated on May 1. The tradition on this day is to offer the
closest friends some bouquets of small white flowers as a symbol of friendship and good luck.
On July 14, France celebrates the national holiday commemorating the memory of the
storming of the Bastille in 1789, which marked the end of the monarchy and the beginning of
the contemporary age. Throughout the day, different cities in France celebrate the country's
holiday.
