It's about understanding

the emotion and intentions behind the information. Effective comuncation is also a two-way
street. More than just the words you use, effective communication combines a set of skills
including nonverbal communication, engaged listening, managing stress in the moment, the ability
to communicate assertively, and the capasiti to recognize and understand your own emotions and
those of the person you’re communicating with. Efectiv communication is the glue that helps you
deepen your conexions to others and improve teamwork, decision making, and problem solving. It
enables you to communicate even negative or difficult mesajes without creating conflict or
destroying trust.
 La comunicación es más que solo intercambiar información. Se trata de comprender la
emoción y las intenciones detrás de la información. La comunicación efectiva también es una calle
de dos sentidos. Más que solo las palabras que usa, la comunicación efectiva combina un conjunto
de habilidades que incluyen la comunicación no verbal, la escucha comprometida, el manejo del
estrés en el momento, la capacidad de comunicarse de manera asertiva y la capacidad de
reconocer y comprender sus propias emociones y las de la persona que te estás comunicando. La
comunicación efectiva es el pegamento que te ayuda a profundizar tus conexiones con los demás y
mejorar el trabajo en equipo, la toma de decisiones y la resolución de problemas. Te permite
comunicar incluso mesajes negativos o difíciles sin crear conflictos o destruir la confianza.

when it comes to language learning.

we asked 15 of our hardest working Babbelonians to learn spanish with Babbel for 3 weeks.

None were expert learners, and few had much free time to dedicate to language learning. so,
where does that leave the rest of us? How much progress can i, the average learner, really make in
his first weeks of study? as it turns out, quite a bit.
back in november, we did a study that found (surprise) that Babbel was the most efficient way to
learn a language. the independent study was conducted by researchers at the City University of
New York (CUNY) and the University of South carolina, and evaluated the overall efficacy of Babbel
spanish courses, examining the progress of 391 randomly selected learners and assessing
participants’ knowledge of Spanish at the beginning and the end of the study.

En noviembre, hicimos un estudio que descubrió (sorpresa) que Babbel era la forma más eficiente
de aprender un idioma. El estudio independiente fue realizado por investigadores de la City
University of New York (CUNY) y la University of South carolina, y evaluó la eficacia general de los
cursos de español de Babbel, examinando el progreso de 391 estudiantes seleccionados al azar y
evaluando el conocimiento de español de los participantes en el comienzo y el final del estudio.
