Exactitud, seguridad y versatilidad en
un mismo medidor
El medidor DM9000 ofrece una exactitud típica de 0,1%, calidad
de energía, historiales con información sobre manipulaciones al
medidor y registros especiales que le dan una gran versatilidad en
sus diferentes aplicaciones. Se ofrecen dos modelos: uno con calidad
de energía avanzada (DM9200) y otro básico (DM9100).

The DM9000 meter offers a typical accuracy of 0.1%, power quality,
historical logs with information of meter operations and special registers
offering great versatility in the meter’s different applications. The DM9000
family comprises two models:The DM9200 has advanced power quality
features and the DM9100 bearing basic capabilities.

 Comunicación
El DM9000 tiene capacidad de hasta 4 puertos de comunicación
con atención simultánea (multiusuario). El modelo básico cuenta
con dos puertos (óptico y RS-485), y la tarjeta de expansión añade
uno o dos puertos más. Los puertos disponibles son: óptico, RS-
232C, RS-485, RS232C/RS485 Ethernet y módem, para los que
se tienen diferentes combinaciones disponibles.
El medidor utiliza los protocolos ArtCOM Meter, DNP 3.0 y Modbus/RTU.
Por medio del software de explotación de los datos, se le da una
gran potencialidad y facilidad en el manejo de la información. El
medidor puede mandar avisos de alarmas o diagnósticos, tanto de
operación anormal como de manipulación de la información (claves
incorrectas, inicializaciones, etc.) a la última dirección que le interrogó.
Seguridad
Una característica importante del medidor DM9000 es la seguridad.
Dispone de dos grupos de registros de demanda independientes,
uno de los cuales no es inicializable por parte del usuario.
Acepta hasta diez usuarios con 4 niveles de acceso.
Cuenta con historiales de entradas al modo de prueba, de inicialización
de demandas (grupo inicializable), de inicializaciones del medidor,
de reprogramaciones, de cambios al reloj y de medidor apagado.
Almacena la fecha, usuario y datos relevantes para cada registro.
Además, al salir de modo de prueba no acepta valores acumulados
menores a los que había al iniciar la prueba. El medidor bloquea
el acceso durante una hora, después de un número programable
de intentos fallidos en la clave de acceso.
Versatilidad
Incluye todas las funciones para usarlo en la industria, comercio,
empresas eléctricas y subestaciones.
El DM9000 cuenta con hasta 20 perfiles de carga independientes
para diferentes usuarios o aplicaciones. Cada perfil es de capacidad
programable en por ciento del total de memoria (1.5 MB con opción
de 2.5 MB o 4.5 MB).
La resolución de los perfiles de carga se puede seleccionar para
que sea en 16 ó en 32 bits, específico para cada uno de los perfiles.
El medidor puede utilizarse indistintamente en instalaciones trifásicas
de dos o tres elementos. Además de los valores acumulados típicos,
tiene acumuladores para aplicaciones especiales, por ejemplo: Hzh,
Wh y VArh generales (valor absoluto), Wh y VArh netos (suma con
signo), VArh fundamentales para voltajes superiores a 103 % Vn o
inferiores a 97 % Vn, VAh aritmético o vectorial.
Salidas activadas por diagnósticos o alarmas. Es posible programar
hasta 14 niveles de activación para las alarmas de diferentes
parámetros. También es posible seleccionar uno o varios de los
diagnósticos registrados por el medidor, para que activen una de
las salidas.
La base de tiempo puede ser programable entre la frecuencia de
línea del sistema o la frecuencia del cristal de cuarzo interno.
Entre los diagnósticos se encuentran “Secuencia incorrecta” y
“Polaridad invertida” que son útiles al momento de la puesta en
marcha del medidor. Se presenta en base tipo 9S, 16S, 12S y tipo
tablero corto (tamaño FT21).
Communication
The DM9000 can be fitted with up to 4 communication ports working
simultaneously (multi-user). The basic model has two ports (optical
and RS-485) and the expansion card adds one or two more ports.
The expansion card offers different combinations of RS-232C,
RS-485, combo RS232C/RS485, Ethernet and modem.
The meter handles the ArtCOM Meter, DNP 3.0 and Modbus/RTU
protocols.
Thanks to the software used to obtain information, the meter has
great potential and offers an easy way to use and handle the
information. The meter can send out alarm messages conveying
information about abnormal conditions, as well as meter manipulation
operations (settings changes, intruder detection, resets, etc.)
Security
An important DM9000 Meter’s characteristic is the security.
The meter has two independent demand register sets, one of them
operates automatically and cannot be reset by the user.
A password can be assigned for up to 10 users with 4 different
access levels.
The meter keeps logs of test mode runs, demands reset (for the available
group), changes in meter settings, changes to the clock and meter
power down events. The meter keeps the date, user and important
data for each log record. Also, when exiting the test mode, accumulated
values lower than the ones at the beginning of the test are not accepted.
The intruder lockout mechanism blocks access to the meter for one
hour after a settable number incorrect access attempts.
Versatility
The meter includes all functions to be used in the industry, commerce,
utilities and substations.
The DM9200 has up to 20 independent load profiles for different
users or applications. Each profile can be configured to use a
percentage of the total memory (1.5 MB, with 2.5 or 4.5 MB
options).
Load profile resolution can be chosen between 16 or 32 bits for
each profile.
The meter can be used in three-phase installations with two or three
elements. Besides the typical accumulated values, the meter has
accumulators for special applications, for example: Hzh, general Wh
and VArh (absolute value), net Wh and VArh (addition with sign),
fundamental VArh for voltages greater than 103% Vn or lower than
97% Vn and arithmetic or vectorial VAh and power factor.
Outputs activated by diagnostics or alarms. It is possible to program
up to 14 setpoints for alarms on different parameters. Also, it is
possible to choose one or several diagnostics detected by the meter
to activate one of the outputs.
The time base can be programmed between the system line frequency
or the internal quartz crystal frequency.
Among the diagnostics detected are “Incorrect Sequence” and
“inverted polarity” which are useful when commissioning the meter.
The meter is available in different base types: 9S, 16S, 12S and
switch board (FT21 size). A form 9A socket adapter is available.

The DM9200 meter includes parameters related to power quality
such as: Instant distortion values, fundamental values and up to

the communications software.

SOFTWARE PARA CONFIGURACIÓN Y
LECTURA DE MEDIDORES ARTECHE
El software DsCom se utiliza para configurar el medidor y sus puertos
así como para leer toda la información almacenada en él. También
es un apoyo en la instalación del medidor ya que proporciona
diagramas fasoriales y diagnósticos.
AMIGABLE
El software DsCom opera en ambiente Windows con funciones intuitivas y
amigables lo que facilita su operación. Además, está disponible en idioma
español y en inglés. Las funciones se agrupan en menús, lo que agiliza la
toma de las diferentes lecturas que ofrecen los medidores.
El mismo software sirve para los diferentes modelos de medidores
ARTECHE. Dispone de un modo de simulación para practica y
capacitación o para preparar archivos de configuración sin necesidad
de conectarse a un medidor.
FLEXIBLE
Todos los datos pueden ser leídos por cualquiera de los puertos del
medidor. El idioma y la configuración de los valores leídos en la PC
es independiente de la del medidor.
CONFIGURACIÓN
El software DsCom permite configurar entre otras cosas:
• Tarifas: estaciones, días tipo, horarios, parámetros tarifarios.
• Perfiles: parámetros, capacidad asignada, resolución, constantes, período.
• Generales: RTC,RTP. pérdidas de transformación e instrumento,1
ó 2 elementos.
• Calidad de energía: niveles y duración de eventos.
• Alarmas: niveles y dirección, salidas y entradas, función.
• Puertos: todos los parámetros de cada puerto.
• Pantalla: datos a mostrar, unidades y número de decimales.
• Actualización del firmware.
LECTURA
El software DsCom permite leer de los medidores entre otras cosas:
• Perfiles: lectura parcial o total de los parámetros almacenados
en cada uno de los perfiles programados.
• Formas de onda: armónicas, fasores, espectro de armónicas,
impedancias, valores de secuencia, distorsiones.
• Históricos: inicialización de demandas y medidor, cambios
al reloj y configuración, clave errónea, medidor apagado,
diagnósticos y entradas al modode prueba.
• Eventos de PQ: formas de onda, variaciones en tensión, THD,
desbalances, variación en Hz, transitorios.
• Consumos: hora, tercio, día, congelados mes, cada 5 minutos,
cada hora.
• Acumuladores, demandas, demandas acumuladas.
• Estado de alarmas, tarifas en uso y datos del medidor.
REQUERIMIENTOS
Windows 2000 o más reciente.
Mínimo Pentium 4 con 256 MB de RAM.

DSCOM: SOFTWARE TO CONFIGURE
AND READ ARTECHE METERS
The DsCom software is used to set the configuration of meter and
download all stored data. Phasor diagrams and diagnostics shown
by the software are an ideal support during meter installation.
FRIENDLY
The DsCom software is designed for the Windows platform, with
intuitive and friendly functions that ease its use. Also, the language
can be set to display all texts in Spanish or English. Functions are
grouped in menus, to speed up the access to the functions and the
reading of data from the meters.
The same software is used for the different Arteche meter models. It
has a simulation mode, which allows the user to practice and self learn
or to prepare configuration files without the need of an actual meter.
FLEXIBLE
All data can be accessed from any of the meter’s ports. Language and data
format shown on the PC have independent settings from those on the meter.
SETTINGS
Among the settings that the DsCom software allows to configure are:
• TOU: seasons, day type, schedules, TOU parameters.
• Profiles: parameters, amount of memory assigned, resolution,
constants, storage interval.
• Generals: CTR, PTR, constants for transformation and instruments
loss, 1 or 2 elements.
• Power quality: events level and duration.
• Alarms set point: level and direction, output and input, function.
• Ports: all port parameters.
• PC display: data to show, units, and number of decimals.
• Firmware update.
READINGS
Among the readings that Software DsCom allows to retrieve are:
• Profiles: partial or total reading of any parameter stored in any
configured profile.
• Waveforms: harmonic magnitudes, Phasors, Harmonic spectrum,
phase impedances, symmetrical components, distortions values.
• Historical records: demand and meter resets, changes to the
clock and meter settings, wrong password, power off, diagnostics
and test mode entrances.
• PQ events: waveform recording, voltage variations, THD, I and V
Imbalance, frequency variations, transients.
• Consumptions: each hour, third and day, frozen registers each
month, historical each 5 minutes and hour.
• Accumulators, demands and continuous cumulative demands.
• Alarm status, Current TOU, meter ID data.

Windows 2000® or a more recent version.

MULTIFUNCIÓN
El software smART LAM está diseñado para trabajar bases de datos
SQL con datos obtenidos de medidores multifunción Arteche.
Facilita la presentación gráfica o tabular de diferentes funciones que
representan el comportamiento del sistema eléctrico.
AMIGABLE
El software smART LAM opera en ambiente Windows con funciones
intuitivas y amigables lo que facilita su operación. Además, está
disponible en idioma español.
FLEXIBLE
El software permite la generación de reportes tanto en forma tabular
como en forma gráfica y además, tiene la posibilidad de exportar
la información a otros formatos.
REPORTES
• Validación de datos. Verifica si los datos almacenados en la base
han sido editados o si hubo algún evento relacionado con el
almacenamiento de datos en el medidor. También se obtiene un
resumen de la comprobación de la integración.
• Tarifas horarias. Obtiene la energía y la demanda de acuerdo a
la programación de tarifas, para las fechas deseadas. Maneja las
mismas funciones tarifarias que el medidor.
• Vaciado de energía, pulsos o demandas en forma cronológica
de los parámetros deseados.
• Análisis de KVA. A partir de los kWh y KVAr se obtiene un análisis
de los kVA y el factor de potencia.
• Análisis diario, semanal, mensual y anual de la información
presente en la base de datos o de datos calculados a partir de ellos.
• Eventos de calidad. Reportes resumidos o detallados de los
eventos de calidad de energía registrados por el medidor.
• Análisis de los voltajes por fase y trifásicos.
GRÁFICAS
• Comportamiento del perfil en forma diaria, semanal, mensual
o anual de cualquier parámetro disponible en la base de datos.
• Comportamiento del perfil de kVAs o factor de potencia en
forma diaria, semanal, mensual o anual.
• Análisis gráfico de días típicos: Lunes a viernes, sábado,
domingo, día festivo, fin de semana.
• Análisis de duración de carga.
• Magnitud contra duración de sags y swells en forma diaria,
semanal, mensual o anual. Incluye curva CBEMA.
• Histograma del voltaje para períodos específicos.
VARIOS
• Exportación o importación de datos a otros sistemas similares.
• Exportación de datos de cualquier perfil a formato de hoja de
cálculo. Es posible seleccionar diferentes formatos para la fecha
y la hora.
• Claves de acceso para 10 usuarios con 4 niveles de acceso.

METER DATA
smART LAM is an SQL server-based software to store and manage
data from Arteche multifunction meters.
It displays, in a graphic or tabular form, different functions that show
how the electrical system behaves.
FRIENDLY
smART LAM works in Windows platform with intuitive and friendly
functions that ease its use. Also, the language can be set, so it
displays all texts in Spanish or English.
FLEXIBLE
smART LAM allows the generation of reports in tabular or graphic
form. Data can be exported to other formats.
REPORTS
• Data validation. Verify that data stored in the DB is correct or has been
edited and look for events related with the storage of data in meters. Also
a summary of the validation of integrated values is shown.
• Time of use. Calculates TOU consumptions and demands over a
specific period. It can manage the same TOU functionality of meters
or use a more complete configuration with 12 seasons and 16 tariffs.
• Chronological data of energy or pulses of one or more parameters.
• kVA analysis. kVA and PF are obtained from kWh and kVArh
stored in the database.
• Daily, weekly, monthly and yearly analysis from information
stored in the Data Base or new data derived from existing information.
• Power quality. Summary or detailed report from PQ events retrieved
from meters.
• Voltage analysis per phase and three phase.
GRAPHICS
• Daily, weekly, monthly or yearly load profile of any parameter
