Resumen

Las normas de bioseguridad, son un conjunto de protocolos; los cuales se deben implementar para
evitar cualquier riesgo a la salud y al medio ambiente. En el laboratorio es importante seguir todas estas
normas de bioseguridad y además saber el manejo correcto de los materiales y equipos del laboratorio,
ya que así se puede garantizar la integridad de todo el personal que utilice el laboratorio ya sea para la
realización práctica o investigaciones. Por esto el personal debe contar con el conocimiento de las
normas para ingresar al laboratorio y una vez allí saber la manera correcta de utilizar lo que se
encuentra a su disposición, para hacer las cosas de la mejor manera posible. Se debe tener en cuenta a
la hora de ingresar al laboratorio la utilización de batas, polainas, entre otros implementos de
protección personal según sea el caso o lo que se vaya a realizar en el laboratorio, debido a que el
personal debe tener previos cocimientos de lo que va a realizar estando en el laboratorio y sobre todo
que el laboratorio también cuente con sus equipos y materiales en óptimas condiciones, además de
tener la señalización correspondiente, como la de riesgos biológicos y señales de peligro. Todo esto se
debe tener en cuenta para evitar accidentes, logrando hacer las cosas de manera correcta y tener una
buena práctica de laboratorio.

Abstracta

The biosafety standards are a set of protocols; which must be implemented to avoid any risk to health
and the environment. In the laboratory, it is important to follow all these biosafety standards and also to
know the correct handling of laboratory materials and equipment, as this can guarantee the integrity of
all personnel who use the laboratory, whether for practical or research purposes. For this reason, the
staff must have knowledge of the rules to enter the laboratory and once there, know the correct way to
use what is available to them, to do things in the best possible way. When entering the laboratory, the
use of gowns, gaiters, among other personal protection implements should be taken into account as the
case may be or what is going to be carried out in the laboratory, because the staff must have prior
cooking of what you are going to do while in the laboratory and above all that the laboratory also has its
equipment and materials in optimal conditions, in addition to having the corresponding signs, such as
biological hazards and danger signs. All this must be taken into account to avoid accidents, managing to
do things correctly and have a good laboratory practice.
