Welcome Home!
Dear Families,
There is a very important page with all the required events and non-required events
for the choral area. If there are any problems with any of the dates I have
attached, please let me know as soon as possible. I will make arrangements for
your student to make up any assignments they might need too.
At the end of the handbook are going to be asked to fill out a few forms for this
school year. They are making sure you read the handbook with a signature, and to
volunteer help with anything we might need this school year. I would greatly
appreciate it if you could fill these out and return them by September 30th.
I am dedicated to making sure every student reaches their full potential in music
and I thank you for allowing your student to participate. This year will be very
exciting and filled with many fun activities and events. Thank you for supporting
the CMHS program!
Sincerely,
Ms. Molly Cahlink

¡Bienvenido a casa!
Queridas familias,
Sinceramente,
Sra. Molly Cahlilk

Music Policy
Our music is VERY expensive and needs to be treated with respect. Students will
receive a number at the beginning of the semester and will receive all music with
that same number. If the student loses or badly damages their piece of music they
will be charged an additional fee to replace the lost or damaged music.
Students are not allowed to have any electronic devices (iphones, laptops, apple
watches, ect..) out during class periods unless specified by an IEP or with the
teachers permission. Students who break this rule will be given the opportunity to
10
put their electronic device away. If they take the device out again it will be taken
by the teacher and the student will get it back at the end of the class period. The
student will also lose a portion of their participation points for that class period.
