Alternating current
Resumen:
Abstract:
In laboratory practice, the analogue wattmeter, the multimeter and a capacitor were connected by
means of the cables for the circuits to the inductance with variable iron core. In addition, the
behavior of the RL, RC, and RLC circuits will be analyzed when the Source was fed with alternating
current, then the experimental data was drawn for the RL circuit that is in series, and with this data,
the resistance that the bulb had for each of the currents was calculated. Then for each of the heights
the air gap, a rotor diagram is made and with this touch find Φ, the inductance and internal
resistance. For this case, the frequency is always going to take 60Hz. For the R-C circuit with
alternating current the device was connected with a cable between the ends of the coil to thus
cancel the inductive effect by short circuit. In addition, for the last circuit, which is the R-L-C, the
position of the air gap is changed to observe the luminosity of the bulb each time the phase angle
changes.
