Principales objetivos de diseño de pozos
“Un pozo que penetra un yacimiento que es, fue, o tiene el potencial
para ser calentado artificialmente.”
No solo el diseño del casing puede ser "el diseño" ya que hay
múltiples factores que determinan el ciclo de vida aceptable de
cada proyecto. Un proceso iterativo, caso por caso, la evaluación
de la ingeniería debe ser completado para establecer un diseño
óptimo del casing.
Diseños de casing que utilizan grados K55 y L80 con una relación
de diámetro - espesor (D/t) de 18-25 son comúnmente usados para
resistir el colapso en operaciones térmicas.
