Smelting, extrusion, powder coating & painting, anodising,
wrapping, chemical brightening and fabrication is carried out
in its production centres in order to optimise all of its range of
final products.
CORTIZO is committed to its own manufacture of all the
necessary components for the manufacture of building finishes
(profiles, hardware, polyamides and weather tightness gaskets),
as well as composite panel.
The CORTIZO INTEGRAL SERVICE is completed with a pioneering
logistical system based on two intelligent warehouses for
profiles one of which is for mill finish material and the other
for finished material, with a capacity of 5,000 t of the more
common references and consequently we are able to provide
reduced delivery lead times to clients as well as maximising
production levels.
CORTIZO counts on more than 2,100 collection points, between its clients and
delegations throughout Europe for depositing aluminium profile offcuts. A fleet of
trucks named CORTIZO RECYCLING are responsible for the uplift of the deposited
aluminium and transfer it back to the production centres for processing.

El proceso de extrusión consiste en introducir el metal en un

 El Centro Tecnológico CORTIZO está dedicado en exclusiva a
la investigación, el desarrollo y la innovación en el sector del
cerramiento prestando servicio a más de 30 países. Con una
superficie total de 3.175 m², este centro pionero en Europa,
cuenta con el más moderno y completo laboratorio de ensayos
del sector integrado por 8 bancos de ensayos en los que probar
y certificar las prestaciones de los más de 50 sistemas exclusivos
CORTIZO.
Con la entrada en vigor del Reglamento (UE) Nº305/2011
relativo a los productos de construcción, el cual sustituye a la
Directiva Europea 89/106/CEE, el Centro Tecnológico CORTIZO
es un laboratorio de ensayos que dispone de los equipos
necesarios y adecuados, así como del personal capacitado, para
la realización de ensayos y cálculos, acordes a las normativas
europeas de ensayo en vigor, para la realización de la DTE
(Documentación Técnica Específica) y de los EIT (Ensayos
Iniciales de Tipo), los cuales son necesarios para la realización
del Marcado CE de ventanas, fachadas y puertas peatonales
exteriores, bajo un sistema 4.

The CORTIZO Technology Centre is dedicated exclusively to the
investigation, the development and innovation in the enclosures

diariamente exhaustivos controles de todas las variables,
en cada procedimiento, con el objetivo de alcanzar los

La adecuada selección de materias primas y el control
de todos los parámetros que influyen en la técnica de
extrusión, avalados por la certificación internacional
ISO 9001 garantizan la calidad del material extruido.
Por su parte, el minucioso trabajo en la ejecución de los
tratamientos de superficie ha logrado los más exigentes
certificados de calidad en el ámbito europeo como el
QUALICOAT, QUALIDECO y SEA SIDE, para el proceso de
lacado, y el EWWA-EURAS, para el proceso de anodizado,
que reconocen y garantizan un elevado nivel de calidad.
La calidad del producto final CORTIZO se fundamenta
en los estrictos ensayos llevados a cabo, tanto en
laboratorios oficiales, nacionales e internacionales,
como por su personal técnico en los bancos de ensayos
propios.

Control Department, daily exhaustive controls are
carried out of all the variables, in each procedure with
the objective of reaching the highest standards in this
matter.
The appropriate selection of raw materials and control of
all the parameters that influence the extrusion technique

guarantee the quality of the extruded material.
For its part, the meticulous work carried out regarding
surface treatments has resulted in achieving the most
demanding European quality certificates such as
