1. MARCO TEÓRICO
1.1. INTRODUCCIÓN
El método contempla que se debe disponer una curva de capacidad en el mismo sistema
que el espectro de diseño, por lo que se debe transformar la curva de capacidad V-Dt en un
espectro de capacidad Sa - Sd en sistemas de un grado de libertad.
Para lo cual el programa solicita linealizar el espectro de capacidad, y esto se logra trazando
líneas sobre la curva existente considerando el criterio de áreas similares dentro y fuera de
la misma formada con la curva existente, como se muestra en la figura 1.
Los puntos 1, 2 y 3 son las coordenadas (Dti, Vi) de 3 puntos de la curva de capacidad
sísmica resistente para los cuales se determina el desplazamiento y aceleración espectral
Sa y Sd. Por lo que el programa reporta el desplazamiento de un grado de libertad Sd, y en
el sistema de múltiples grados de libertad Dt en el tope de la estructura en análisis, y
adicionalmente reporta tres gráficos que corresponde a la curva de capacidad, espectro de
diseño, de diseño y punto de desempeño, y la estructura dañada en punto de desempeño
como se ilustra en la Figura 2.

3. DESARROLLO PROGRAMAS
En primer lugar, se realiza el análisis de la estructura mediante el método espectral tanto en
sentido X como en Y (Programa Ej_4_espectral_elem_enlace_XY), de esta manera se
encuentran las fuerzas laterales que se aplicarán a cada pórtico por piso. Posteriormente se
realiza el análisis estático de los pórticos exteriores (Pórtico 1 y Pórtico E) mediante el
programa Ej_4_estatico_elem_enlace_XY.
