FUNCTION RELAYS
DESCRIPCION
Relé de Vigilancia del circuito de disparo de un
interruptor en ambas posiciones (abierto/cerra-
do), comprobando la continuidad eléctrica de la
bobina de disparo y el correcto estado de los fusi-
bles o mini-interruptores de dicho circuito.
También detecta maniobras lentas, superiores a
150 ms, realizadas por interruptores a partir de
recibir la orden, ya sea manualmente o a través
de las protecciones.
El relé esté siempre excitado, independientemen-
te de la posición del interruptor (abierto/cerrado).
CARACTERISTICAS DESTACABLES
Gran durabilidad y garantía de funcionamiento,
lo que los hace aptos para controles de gran
responsabilidad.
Cumplimiento de las normas de ensayo más
severas CEI, EN, IEEE y marcado CE.
El diseño y calidad de estos relés garantiza su
perfecto funcionamiento en la vigilancia de la
bobina de disparo del interruptor.
El gran poder de sus contactos de salida hace
posible que actuen directamente sobre el apa-
rellaje de AT y MT, ya que su poder de cierre, paso,
apertura y sobretensiones que puede soportar
garantiza un aislamiento perfecto.
Alto grado de protección con cubierta transparen-
te que los hace apropiados para ambientes tropi-
cales y salinos.
Su aplicación está limitada para interruptores
con circuitos de disparo de consumo superior
a 30 W. Para bobinas de disparo de consumo
inferior a 30 W es necesario consultar.
En caso de actuación del relé, sus contactos,
libres de potencial, permiten ser utilizados
para:
- Bloquear el cierre del interruptor.
- Dar orden de disparo a otro interruptor adya-
cente o de cabecera o a un segundo circuito
de disparo del mismo interruptor.
- Señalización local o telemando.
En condiciones normales de trabajo, el VDF-10
no puede producir disparo intempestivo del
interruptor, ya que la bobina del mismo tiene
una gran resistencia. Incluso si se cortocircui-
tase la bobina, tampoco se produciría el dis-
paro del interruptor, al disponer de una resis-
tencia montada en serie con la bobina, que
limita el paso de la intensidad a algunos
miliamperios.

VDF-10
DESCRIPTION
VDF-10 relay is used to watch over the break
trip coil circuit, testing the electric continuity
through the coil and the correct state of the
fuses and mini-breakes of this circuit, in both
positions of the breaker.
VDF-10 also detects the break operation delay
if it is more than 150 ms, after receiving the
order by hand or automatically with the protec-
tions.
The relay is always excited, independently of
the position of the breaker (open/close).

bility controls.
According to the most demanding test stan-
dards: IEC, EN, IEEE, and bearing the CE mark.
The design and quality of these relays guarantee
their corret operation in watching over the break
trip coil circuit.
The great power of the output contacts makes
possible direct action on HV and MV switchgear,
because their making/breaking capacities, con-
tinuous through current and overvoltage capa-
city guarantee perfect insulation. Absolutely
reliable for use in salty, tropical atmospheres,

need protection with transparent cover.

In the event of actuation of the relay, its free
voltage contacts could be used for:

- Blocking the breaker connection.
- Giving the trip order to another breaker up- VDF 10

breaker.
- Local or telecontrol signal code.
In normal conditions, the VDF-10 cannot pro-
duce an unliked trip due to the big resistance 9 13 10 14 8 12
of the VDF coil and another resistance in serie
with it. Although its coil would be short-circui-
ted, this resistence would not allow to trip the 52b 52a
