Discrimination has a lot of layers that make it tough for minorities to get a leg up

I agree with this quote and I think it show us the reality of our world that we are living at the
moment and tries to explain how most of the minorities suffer from a complex discrimination
which includes several aspects and makes it hard for these minorities to get any type of help or
benefits in order to move forward. In all societies, there are majority groups facing other
minority ones which are differentiated by their religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability,
race, age, etc.

Although it is hard for minorities to stand out in aspects like work, sports or studies since they
are not well considered by others because of stereotypes and prejudices there are still some
who, despite all these problems, manage to go through and succeed. However, we can see
that in the last years, governments are supporting and giving a greatest attention to these
minorities while providing them with more options to improve in various areas and giving
equal opportunities to all without any exception. I think we still have a lot to do to eradicate
discrimination but with everyone’s help it is going to be possible.

Yo concuerdo con esta frase y creo que trata de explicar como mucha de las minorías sufren de
una discriminación muy compleja lo cual abarca distintos aspectos y eso provoca que a estas
se les haga complicado conseguir cierto tipo de ayuda o beneficios para poder salir adfelante.
En todos las sociedades existen grupos mayoritarios frente a otros de menor numero, estos
últimos pueden ser diferenciados por distintos aspectos como raza, religión, clase social, entre
ortros. A las personas que coforman estos grupos minoritarios les puede ser muy difícil colmar
sus expectativas y sobresalir, obtener ayudao beneficios en muchos aspectos como tranajo,
estudios, deporte ya que no son muy bien vustos por la mayoría debido a una discriminación
muy compleja que existe hacia ellos lo cual origina los esteriotipos. Sin embargo, hay personas
que pese a esta condición, logran destacar y salir adelante por su propia cuenta

Por otro lado 0bservamos también con agrado que edn diferentes países existe un mayor
interés por ir mejorando el problema de la discriminación, vemos países en donde su
presidenta es una mujer, así mismo leyes que dan mayor oportunidad de trabajo a los
minusválidos o que existe una remuneración más equitativa entre los hombres y la mujeres.
Todavdía nos falta bastante por recorre para lograr erradicar la discriminación,
