RESUMEN
ABSTRACT
The Strategic Plan for Sustainable Territorial Conditioning of Pilcuyo District is a
technical instrument comprehensive physical planning based on criteria of
sustainability, to know the problems of the district in all its dimensions a thorough
diagnosis of the environmental , social, economic reality was , political and territorial
Pilcuyo District ; thus achieve the proposed sustainable development and management
of its territory that are aimed at improving the standards and quality of life of the urban
and rural population conserving and protecting their natural and cultural resources.

RESULTADOS
El clima en el distrito se caracteriza por ser de tipo frio y seco en gran parte del
año, la radiación ultravioleta llega a niveles extremos según el SENAMHI, Los
accesos al distrito son vía terrestre por la carretera Panamericana Puno –
Desaguadero y vía lacustre por el Lago Titicaca.
El distrito se caracteriza por ser rural, pero también en su territorio se encuentran dos
centros poblados urbanos importantes: el pueblo de Pilcuyo que viene a ser la capital
del distrito y es el centro político administrativo y comercial; también esta Chipana
que es también un centro político administrativo de segundo orden en el distrito.
CONCLUSION.- El distrito tiene niveles muy altos de pobreza por ser insostenible.
Densidad Poblacional.- Los 08 centros poblados del distrito tienen alta densidad
poblacional, siendo el más denso el centro poblado Villa Maquercota que alcanza
155 habitantes por kilómetro cuadrado, y la densidad poblacional media a nivel
del distrito viene a ser 90.3 hab/km2, una de las más altas a nivel regional.
