 To CONJUGATE a verb, follow 3 steps:

Using names & conjugation:
·If it is 1 name, use the ______________ ending
o E.g James _______________________ español because it is the same as

“él habla español” = he speaks Spanish

·If it is 2 or more names, you use the _____________________ ending

o E.g. Leyanni y Moriah ____________________ español because it’s the same as “ellas hablan
español” = they speak Spanish

•To talk to multiple people/names, you use the _____________________ ending

because it’s the same as “do you all/guys speak Spanish?”

 Because each ___________________________ has it’s own ending, in Spanish you can leave
them out and the sentence still makes sense

_________________ to talk to people who are older than you to show respect

La clase de español 1 de Ms. Leach es muy inteligente. Los estudiantes hablan español muy bien. Practican el

español mucho. Los chicos nunca hablan cuando Ms. Leach habla. Tampoco los chicos textean durante la clase.

Por esta razon, la clase viaja a Perú, El Salvador, y muchos paises excelentes. Ms. Leach camina por la clase y
