Table of Note Values
Throughout PONER BROOVES you will find all different kinds of note values. It’s very important for you
to understand the relationship between these notes and also the relationships of those notes to
the time signatures found in PIMEE BRIDNES. Most of this book is written in Common Time or 4/4
time. One measure of Common Time is equal in time to one whole note. This Table will help
you to figure out the relative value of all the other notes found within the whole note.
