Inductores en Serie PDF
An inductor or coil is a passive component of an electrical circuit that, due to the phenomenon of self-
induction, stores energy in the form of an electric field. They are formed by a cable winding (basically
enameled copper) on a core that may be hollow, or filled with some ferrous material to increase the
magnetic field. In series: The calculation of the inductor or equivalent coil (LT) of inductors in series is
similar to the calculation method of the equivalent of series resistors, it is only necessary to add them.
In the diagram that follows, there are 3 inductors or coils in series. The formula to be used is: (summation
of the values of the inductors). Lenz's law says that every conductor subjected to a variable magnetic
field, creates in itself an induced current that tends to oppose its effects to the cause that produces it.
