para What is music (19-28 de julio) y/o festival happy yoga (7-21 agosto)
In preparation for the event, please compose a short “Interpretive Talk” to demonstrate your
ability to “Lead Out Loud”. Interpretive talks are short, teachable moments that enhance your
guests experience and connection to the region. They should be specific, concise and fun. The
goal of an interpretive talk is to give your guests an interesting, digestible nugget of local
information and makes them say, “Wow! I had no idea!” You will present your talk to your
fellow candidates as though they are guests on a Backroads trip.
You might teach us a local custom, the history behind a traditional meal or greeting, or a few
surprising facts about a specific animal or flower you’ve just spotted on the trail – the choices
are limitless! However, we encourage you to choose a topic you could envision sharing with
our guests on a Backroads trip. You will have two minutes to give your talk. There is no need
for props. You will be evaluated primarily on style and presentation ability, rather than
content. We’re not looking for scripted presentations; we’re looking for comfortable
professionalism. Commented [E1]: CANTAR “TODO CAMBIA” imaginando que
