Sumary
The cultivation of pallar is one of the most expensive of our country, it is being
implemented cultivars in different places of the Cañete Valley, for its nutritional quality
with high degrees of natural proteins; but that in conditions of natural fertility shows
low rate of growth and yield. In the present thesis, it is sought to evaluate the effect of
three organic fertilizers at three different doses on the rate of growth and yield of the
pallar (Phaseolus lunatus).
Sometimes deficient doses have been used that lead to performance problems and
excessive doses that generate a mineral imbalance that affects the rate of growth and
performance. That is why in the research we will use three organic fertilizers (humus,
guinea pig manure, sheep manure): humus (4 tm / hectare), guinea pig manure (15 tm
/ hectare), sheep manure (15 tm / hectare) and a control treatment, forming 12
treatments in total with 3 repetitions each; a completely randomized block design was
carried out to observe which was the organic fertilizer that had the greatest effect on
the variables evaluated, and the Tukey method with 5% significance, to test all the
differences between treatment means used in the investigation.
The results for plant height were obtained better average for treatment 1 (sheep's guano)
recorded a higher plant height with 37.8 cm, and the control treatment presented lower plant
height presents with 31.57cm. For the variable number of leaves, no significant difference was
found between the treatments.
