Biografía de Alex Campos

Alex Campos nacioó el 10 de septiembre de 1976 en Bogotaó . Es el hermano

mayor entre cuatro hijos, pero tuvo la desventaja de crecer en un hogar
disfuncional.
Crecíó desafortunadamente en un hogar disfuncional lo cual trajo
desilusiones fui maltratado propio de mi padre. Esta situacioó n generoó
muchas dificultades, especialmente, econoó micas que nos obligaron a
tomar decisiones y responsabilidades para ayudar a sostener la casa.
Desde temprana edad asistioó a una iglesia evangeó lica local. A los 17 anñ os
Alex formoó la banda llamada "Misioó n Vida". Cuando cumplioó 20 anñ os logroó
hacer su primer trabajo discograó fico Tiempo de la cruz, asíó llevaron su
primera gira en Colombia. en el anñ o 1998 formoó la disquera musical
cristiana Misioó n Vida Records MV RECORDS. En 2001, Alex realizoó su
primera salida del paíós a Quito en Ecuador.
En el anñ o 2002 fue un tiempo difíócil para el cantante, ya que le
pronosticaron un tumor en las cuerdas vocales. Estos debíóan ser
extirpados, conllevando un riesgo de perder el 50% de su voz. Los quistes
no fueron extirpados y Campos, considerando que Dios hizo un milagro
en su vida, un díóa antes de la operacioó n, decide orar a Dios y compuso la
cancioó n «Al taller del maestro», ese mismo díóa le sacaron una radiografíóa
donde los meó dicos se asombraron al ver que el tumor ya no estaba allíó. En
el mes de junio de ese mismo anñ o el sello discograó fico CanZion Integrity
Distributions se presentoó interesado en Alex, para que en noviembre del
mismo anñ o graboó su segundo aó lbum Al taller del maestro. Alex Campos
contrajo matrimonio con Nathalia Rodríóguez, con la cual tiene dos hijos:
Juanita y Simoó n. En 2005 lanzoó su aó lbum Como un ninñ o, del cual filmaron
dos videoclips de las canciones «Suenñ o de morir» y «Quiero, siento y
pienso» en San Petersburgo, bajo el sello discograó fico de CanZion. En
2006, Alex Campos lanzoó al mercado su aó lbum en vivo, Acuó stico, el sonido
del silencio. El 29 de julio de 2008 lanzoó su sexta produccioó n discograó fica,
Cuidareó de ti que recibioó una nominacioó n al Grammy Latino dentro de la
categoríóa de mejor aó lbum cristiano en espanñ ol. Ademaó s, fue galardonado
con seis Premios Arpa y cinco Premios Vertical de su natal Colombia.
Tambieó n hizo un videolibro titulado "Del llanto a la sonrisa" donde
muestra testimonios de sus proyectos discograó ficos, y de su vida personal.
Se lanzoó al mercado su disco Te puedo sentir, grabando en vivo en el
Congreso Juvenil "Raza de Campeones", con la participacioó n de artistas
reconocidos (Marcela Gandara, Ulises Eyherabide de Rescate, Jez, Coalo
Zamorano, Antonio Rios, Dr. P) en la ciudad de Bogotaó . El 17 de agosto de
2010, lanzoó su produccioó n discograó fica: Lenguaje de amor, producida por
Juan Blas Caballero. Su aó lbum fue nominado a los Premios Grammy
Latinos 2011 y resultoó ganador en la categoríóa de mejor aó lbum cristiano
en espanñ ol, convirtieó ndose asíó en el primer Grammy de Alex Campos. En
este anñ o salioó su maó s reciente aó lbum Regreso a tíó' con dos invitados maó s
Sara Borraez y Jesuó s Adriaó n Romero. El aó lbum fue realizado por el
productor Kiko Cibriaó n. Ademaó s, trabajoó arduamente en un DVD en 3D
realizado en Buenos Aires Argentina interpretando las canciones de su
reciente aó lbum y canciones del disco anterior Lenguaje de Amor.
"Tengo muchas expectativas porque la gente de Argentina nos quiere
mucho, se entrega en los conciertos y es apasionada. Creo que va a ser
algo muy especial, maó s auó n por toda la produccioó n, que va a ser algo
imponente y elegante, ¡grandíósima! El hecho que se va a hacer en 3D y
lanzarse en Blu Ray tambieó n le da un toque muy especial. Yo estareó
viajando con todo mi equipo, y estoy emocionado y ya con ganas de que
lleguen esos momentos”, comentoó Alex Campos.
En 13 anñ os de carrera musical Alex ha trabajado con reconocidos
cantantes de muó sica cristiana como Marcos Witt, Jesuó s Adriaó n Romero y
Funky; ha tenido invitados reconocidos en sus aó lbumes como Jez, Ulises
Eyherabide, de la banda cristiana de Argentina Rescate, Marcela Gaó ndara,
Lilly Goodman, Coalo Zamorano, Fonseca, Danilo Montero, y entre otros y
ha realizado giras en maó s de 26 paíóses.
El Anñ o 2013 Ganoó un Grammy Latino. El 19 de noviembre en la 16ª
celebracioó n de los Grammy Latinos 2015 ganaríóan el premio Mejor AÁ lbum
de Muó sica Cristiana por "Derroche de Amor".

Biography of Alex Campos

Alex Campos was born on September 10, 1976 in Bogotaó . He is the eldest
brother among four children, but had the disadvantage of growing up in a
dysfunctional home.
I grew up unfortunately in a dysfunctional home which brought
disillusionment I was mistreated own of my father. This situation
generated many difficulties, especially economic ones that forced us to
make decisions and responsibilities to help sustain the house.
From an early age he attended a local evangelical church. At age 17 Alex
formed the band called "Mission Life". When he turned 20 he managed to
make his first album Time of the Cross, so they took their first tour in
Colombia. In 1998 he formed the musical music label Misioó n Vida Records
MV RECORDS. In 2001, Alex made his first trip out of the country to Quito
in Ecuador.
In 2002 it was a difficult time for the singer, since he was predicted a
tumor in the vocal cords. These had to be removed, entailing a risk of
losing 50% of his voice. The cysts were not removed and Campos,
considering that God did a miracle in his life, one day before the
operation, he decided to pray to God and composed the song "To the

he released his sixth record production, Cuidareó de ti, which received a
Latin Grammy nomination in the category of best Christian album in

His album Te puedo sentir was released to the market, recording live at
the "Race of Champions" Youth Congress, with the participation of
recognized artists (Marcela Gandara, Ulises Eyherabide of Rescate, Jez,
Coalo Zamorano, Antonio Rios, Dr. P) in the city of Bogota. On August 17,
2010, he released his record production: Lenguaje de amor, produced by
Juan Blas Caballero. His album was nominated for the Latin Grammy
Awards 2011 and was the winner in the category of best Christian album
in Spanish, thus becoming the first Grammy of Alex Campos. In this year
his most recent album came back to you with two more guests Sara
Borraez and Jesuó s Adriaó n Romero. The album was made by producer Kiko
Cibriaó n. In addition, he worked hard on a 3D DVD made in Buenos Aires
Argentina performing the songs from his recent album and songs from the
previous album Lenguaje de Amor.
