6.5 Removal of Inverter Module
6.2 Opening the Refrigeration Circuit
To remove the Inverter from the compressor, the screw (below picture)
connected the inverter to the compressor should be removed.
CAUTION
► Whenever the refrigeration circuit is opened,
always replace the drier before evacuating and
filling the refrigeration circuit.

If there will be no compressor change, evacuation and gas charge can

be done from front side of the appliance.

6.3 Leaks on Intake Side

If the refrigeration circuit leaks on the intake side resulting in repairs,

always replace the compressor and drier.
To reach the screw from front side, use an L-shape screwdriver.
CAUTION
► If atmospheric humidity penetrates the CAUTION
refrigeration circuit, the oil in the compressor will
be contaminated. ► For 24’’ (61 cm) appliances the front screws of
the separator sheet next the compressors can be
unscrewed and moved to the right to obtain much

► Before measuring, pay attention to the direction
of the socket!

Alternative Method:
This voltage can be measured in test program, by choosing the
appropriate ( ICE ) LOAD in load test.
In the test program icemaker is activated via Setup button, than 5V
should be measured.

6.8 Voltage Measuring from Display Module 6.9 Interior Lightning (LED) Replacement

9V DC between pin1 and pin 3 at the socket connection of the display

module should be measured for a correct communication with the power
module.

To replace the LED:

Pin 1: GND (left)
1 – Use a flat head screw driver and move the LED cover up
Pin 2: Data (middle) 2 – Move the LED cover to rear wall as shown
3 – Remove the LED cover
Pin 3: 9V DC (right) 4 – After removing the LED cover, use a pliers to disconnect the LED
PCB from it’s housing.
