RESUMEN
Dentro del proceso de endurecimiento del cemento hidrulico podemos encontrar diversas reacciones qumicas. Justo
en el contacto con el agua se libera una reaccin exotrmica que caracteriza el inicio de un endurecimiento no tan
instantneo de la mezcla. Para la realizacin de este proceso se determina la consistencia normal del cemento por medio
de unos equipos de esencial ayuda para el mismo. Tales equipos contribuyen a la obtencin de los resultados basados
en unas pruebas, considerando as un inicio de tiempo de fraguado y un final. Siendo el estado inicial cuando la mezcla
pierde notablemente su plasticidad y se vuelve complicado de manipular, y siendo el tiempo final muy notable ya que
su consistencia es muy apreciable, tendiendo a comportarse como un slido. Este tiempo de fraguado puede variar un
poco, dependiendo las condiciones del medio ambiente y de la calidad del cemento.
