La empresa aeronutica CESSNA ha estado perdiendo valiosos
clientes. La principal causante de este problema es el diseo
del tren de aterrizaje. La propuesta hecha por nuestros
ingenieros recomienda una modificacin en el sistema de
aterrizaje, el cual mejorara sus ventas.
Las aeronaves se sometieron a simulaciones y se demostr que
el principal problema es el diseo del tren de aterrizaje. El
sistema que utiliza CESSNA para su tren de aterrizaje es
ineficiente porque genera dos problemas: un consumo mayor
de combustible e inestabilidad de vuelo. Debido a esta
configuracin del sistema de aterrizaje, los clientes perdidos
han optado por aeronaves que no tengan estos problemas.
Los trenes de aterrizaje tienen que ser modificados para
solucionar el problema aerodinmico actual. De no ser
modificados, los aviones seguiran siendo inestables y
seguiran consumiendo ms combustible de lo necesario. Por
consecuencia, los clientes se vern afectados y tomarn la
decisin de comprar otras aeronaves ms eficientes.
El tren de aterrizaje es la parte de cualquier aeronave
encargada de absorber la energa cintica producida por el
contacto entre la aeronave y la pista durante el aterrizaje y el
despegue. Pueden ser de dos tipos: fijos o retractiles. Los fijos
se encuentran permanentemente expuestos, por lo contrario,
los retractiles tienen la habilidad de esconderse en el interior
del fuselaje.
Los trenes de aterrizaje cambiados de trenes fijos a retractiles.
Los materiales necesarios sern: pistones, mangueras, aceite
hidrulico, vlvulas, bisagras, bomba hidrulica, entre otros
artculos. Estos materiales sern comprados segn las medidas
necesarias. Los materiales tendrn un costo de $25,000
dlares por aeronave.
En primer lugar, los planos del fuselaje sern modificados para
poder visualizar el espacio donde estar escondido el tren.
Despus se capacitar el personal encargado de las
instalaciones, al igual el taller ser adaptado para trabajar sin
problemas. Luego se tomarn grupos de 3 aeronaves que aun
estn en produccin y sin el tren de aterrizaje para hacer la
modificacin. La modificacin tardar ocho meses.
La empresa CESSNA necesita inmediatamente una
modificacin en sus aviones. Para solucionar este problema, es
necesario convertir el tren de aterrizaje fijo a un tren retrctil
para mejorar el ahorro de combustible, la estabilidad de vuelo
y la seguridad de la aeronave. En otros aviones se ha
comprobado la efectividad que tienen los trenes retractiles en
estos problemas antes mencionados.

The aeronautical company CESSNA has been losing valuable
clients. The main cause of this problem is the landing gear
design. The proposal made by our engineers recommends a
modification in the landing system, which will improve their
sales.
The aircraft was submitted to simulations and it was
demonstrated that the main problem is the design of the
landing gear. The system that CESSNA uses for its landing gear
is inefficient because it generates two problems: a greater
consumption of fuel and instability of flight. Because of this
configuration of the landing system, lost customers have opted
for aircraft that do not have these problems.
The landing gear has to be modified to solve the current
aerodynamic problem. If left unmodified, airplanes would
remain unstable and would continue to consume more fuel
than necessary. Consequently, customers will be affected and
will make the decision to purchase other more efficient
aircraft.
The landing gear is the part of any aircraft in charge of
absorbing the kinetic energy produced by the contact between
the aircraft and the runway during landing and take-off. They
can be of two types: fixed or retractable. The fixed ones are
permanently exposed, on the contrary, the retractiles have the
ability to hide inside the fuselage.
Landing trains will be changed from fixed to retractable trains.
The necessary materials will be: pistons, hoses, hydraulic oil,
valves, hinges, hydraulic pump, among other items. These
materials will be purchased as required.The materials will cost
$ 25,000 per aircraft.
