LINEAMIENTOS CURRICULARES:

Son las orientaciones epistemolgicas, pedaggicas y curriculares que define

el MEN con el apoyo de la comunidad acadmica educativa para apoyar el
proceso de fundamentacin y planeacin de las reas obligatorias y
fundamentales definidas por la Ley General de Educacin en su artculo 23.
En el proceso de elaboracin de los Proyectos Educativos Institucionales y sus
correspondientes planes de estudio por ciclos, niveles y reas, los
lineamientos curriculares se constituyen en referentes que apoyan y orientan
esta labor conjuntamente con los aportes que han adquirido las instituciones
y sus docentes a travs de su experiencia, formacin e investigacin.

Qu son los estndares?

Recordemos: los Estndares de Competencias Bsicas son criterios claros y
pblicos que permiten establecer los niveles bsicos de calidad de la
educacin a los que tienen derecho los nios y las nias de todas las regiones
del pas, en todas las reas que integran el conocimiento escolar.
En los estndares bsicos de calidad se hace un mayor nfasis en las
competencias, sin que con ello se pretenda excluir los contenidos temticos.
No hay competencias totalmente independientes de los contenidos temticos
de un mbito del saber -qu, dnde y para qu del saber-, porque cada
competencia requiere conocimientos, habilidades, destrezas, comprensiones,
actitudes y disposiciones especficas para su desarrollo y dominio. Sin el
conjunto de ellos no se puede valorar si la persona es realmente competente
en el mbito seleccionado. La nocin actual de competencia abre, por tanto,
la posibilidad de que quienes aprenden encuentren el significado en lo que
aprenden.
Los Estndares de Competencia en Lengua Extranjera: Ingls permiten
establecer cules son los niveles bsicos de calidad a los que tienen derecho
los nios y las nias de todas las regiones de Colombia. Con ellos, estamos
dicindole a la comunidad educativa y a los padres de familia, qu es lo que los
nios y nias deben aprender al final de cada grupo de niveles y qu deben ser
capaces de hacer con eso que aprendieron, para que puedan desenvolverse de
manera efectiva en el mundo estudiantil y laboral. Para que as en Undcimo
ao alcancen un nivel intermedio de competencia en ingls Nivel B1, segn el
Marco Comn Europeo
CURRICULAR GUIDELINES:
They are the epistemological, pedagogical and curricular guidelines defining

In the process of elaboration of institutional educational projects and their
corresponding plans of study cycles, levels and areas, the curricular guidelines
constitute references that support and guide this work jointly with the
contributions that institutions and their teachers have acquired through their
experience, training and research.

What are the standards?

Remember: basic skills standards are clear and published criteria that allow to
establish baseline levels of quality of education to which they are entitled
children and girls from all regions of the country, in all the areas that make up
the school knowledge.
Basic quality standards makes a greater emphasis on competencies, unless this
is intended to exclude the thematic content. There are no powers completely
independent of the thematic content of a field of the know - how, where and
what of knowledge-, because each competition requires knowledge, abilities,
skills, understandings, attitudes and specific provisions for its development and
domain. If the person is really competent in the selected field can not be
assessed without all of them. The current notion of competition therefore opens
the possibility that learners will find meaning in what they learn.
"The standards of competence in foreign language: English allow to establish
what are the basic levels of quality to which the children from all regions of
Colombia have the right". With them, we are saying to the educational

group of levels and what should be able to do with that they had learned, so
