CHARLA (50%) Duracin mxima: 15 minutos. Estructura Marco Geolgico (0,5 puntos) Descripcin del problema (0,5 puntos) Metodologa: tipos de anlisis y materiales. (1,0 puntos) Presentacin sucinta de resultados. (1,0 puntos) Discusin de los resultados (2,0 puntos) Interpretacin final (1,0 puntos) Luego de la charla habr una serie de preguntas (15 minutos). Las presentaciones -no los artculos- son parte del contenido a evaluar en los certmenes. INFORME ESCRITO (50%) Introduccin (mximo 1 pgina) (0.5 puntos) Marco geolgico, descripcin del problema y justificacin de la metodologa escogida por el autor. Discusin (mximo 1 pgina) (2.0 puntos) Evaluacin de la metodologa Es adecuada? Se ajusta a la resolucin del problema? Entrega datos coherentes? Si les parece pertinente pueden reinterpretar los datos. Propuesta (mximo 1.5 pginas) (1.5 puntos) a) Metodologa complementaria o alternativa para resolver el mismo problema. Justificar. Sugerencias: indicar presencia de materiales apropiados, relevancia con respecto al problema, alcances del mtodo alternativo, podra el resultado ser incluso ms robusto con este mtodo alternativo? podran solucionarse problemas complementarios? b) Qu problema geolgico en Chile o los Andes se podra resolver de manera similar a la descrita en el artculo? Justificar. Sugerencias: indicar existencia documentada de una problemtica similar, factibilidad de encontrar materiales apropiados, esquema de trabajo. (2.0 puntos) Referencias Deben tener una estructura homognea. Les sugiero seguir las instrucciones de Andean Geology (Revista Geolgica de Chile). (-0,3 puntos si estn mal:desordenadas, incompletas, sin formato solicitado) Tablas y Figuras En el caso que quieran incluir figuras o tablas, stas deben ser obligatoriamente diferentes a las que aparecen en el artculos. Eviten poner figuras que no aporten significativamente al informe, por ej. mapas geolgicos generales, fotos panormicas sin informacin relevante, diagramas del artculo levemente modificados, datos contenidos en los anexos, etc. (-0,5 puntos si son iguales a las del artculo) Luego de cada presentacin deben enviar el pdf de esta por email para subirlo a INDOFA, el envo es requisito obligatorio. El plazo para entregar el informe est indicado en el calendario a continuacin.
